After the Diaz fight in Texas, who genuinely wants to fight in Texas. This fight should not be done in Texas, the loss of revenue to Texas will send a message to all the other venues so they watch what they do

All this bickering is probably just for some more exposure. With only 3 months until the fight i'm sure there will be 'spats' nearly everyday until them fighters get in that (in what floyd says in EVERY interview) 'square circle'!!!

GBP has close ties to the MGM group, they could be worried that those ties would be strained if they chose to fight in Texas. And I'm not surprised if Mayweather had a voice in this, I think Texas judges favor aggressive fighters over defensive guys and I'm sure he's reluctant to go there because of that.

But this fight should be in a stadium, not in a casino. This is a stadium fight. I think this fight could do great, great attendance numbers with the right ticket prices in a stadium.

Sounds like the GBP Mob is getting greased ..... And don't even want to entertain any other options outside of Vegas.

Sorry but Las Vegas makes way more sense than Dallas. Historically it's not even close. This fight will sell no matter where it goes andthe tickets are not going to be cheap even if it goes to Dallas.. Texas judges have also made some very bad decisions.

In what way? Financially? Not really, Arum said that Dallas offered a million more plus this fight would have been able to draw 70 or 80 thousand for this fight so the gate would've probably been more, meaning each fighter would take home more money. I'm sure the tickets will be cheaper in Dallas than they would be in Vegas, they're already talking about $2500 seats in Vegas to about $500 seats, I'm sure there would be expensive seats in Dallas but I'm sure there would have been 'cheap' seats that fans who are not strapped with cash could afford as well.

Historically? No. Stadium fights have been the places where historic fights have taken place for the most part. Stadium fights also enhance the boxing fans' experience where you know there will be 60 or 70 thousand true boxing fans there watching a historic fight. In a casino a small percentage of the tickets actually go on sale, half of the people there are from sponsors and people who just want to be in the spotlight.

I have to disagree, this fight belongs in a stadium. Whether it's Cowboy Stadium, the Superdome or whatever other stadium is offering a bid, this fight belongs there.

I don't know about that. There have been many historical fights in Vegas. I don't think Texas even comes close and certainly not Cowboy stadium.
