"Let him have a few more fights against the Hatton's, the Diaz's, and the Mallignaggi's in the world, before he is thrown in with the wolves." Hahahaha, aren't the three guys you just mentioned really tough customers? Fighting any of those three guys or Maidana would be throwing him to the wolves....

He should duck him since a fight between them right now wouldn't be that big. Later down the line it could be worth the risk. Maidana still needs to prove his worth. Look what happened with Prescott after he KO'd Khan. He started losing. All Maidana proved against Ortiz is he was a good puncher like Prescott did. If Maidana is any good, this fight will be demanded and the fight will be more anticipated leading to a bigger gate. I hate waiting to see this fight too but if I was Khan, I would duck. These guys put their health, career, and even their lives on the line every time they step into the ring. Its their right to make as much money for these bouts as they can, because their next fight might be their last fight. Any one that gets into the ring in front of millions of people is not a *****.

i wasn't all that impressed by maidana, i think khan could beat him behind an active jab. but i could see why roach won't let him fight another big puncher, because maidana does swing for the fences. regardless, it's going to look bad if khan vacates.

khan said he wanted to come to the states. maidana is with goldenboy and khan-maidana on HBO would be perfect for his coming out party in the states.

maidana deserved the decision against kotelnik in my opinion, so did many other people.

If that 140 pound tournament would have come to fruition, he would have had to face Maidana anyway. If he ducks Maidana then there probably wouldn't be said tourney.

Whatever, if Khan ducks him and he goes on do great things people will just say he didn't duck and he probably did him a favor or some ****. It'll be like it never happened if/when Marcos loses.

Khan is really good, he showed that against decent boxers Kotelnik and Salita. Problem is, he's good but his chin is not. Maidana has a lot of heart, power, determination and plus he's hungry.

Khan should go for the big money fights and just stay away from punchers. As long as he fights boxers and brawlers then he's safer.

im disappointed about this,a fight with maidana is a very winnable one for amir and it will gain him respect within the boxing world too beat a dangerous guy like MM
i think 90 days is a bit of a rush and thats the concern here,i dont think it has anything too do with khan ducking him
