For some odd reason, I'm led to believe that Marquez was "paid-off" by Golden Boy Promos. to take a "dive" if you will in order to give the Pretty Boy a highly acclaimed comback victory. Only Golden Boy Promos. and Mayweather Productions would know the truth behind this and if it is true, I would say this has to be the biggest fraud scam in boxing history. Now for all of you out there, this is just a gut feeling and not intended to cause unnecessary flame wars. What do you think?
Your love for Floyd has taken on new heights, its so obvious you wish you could fight like him.

Marquez gave his all against Floyd, he was just too far beyond his best weight and had a terrible style match-up with Floyd to boot. He certainly didn't throw the fight. However, Floyd duped the fans by agreeing to fight at 144 in order to give the fight a little more credibility, said that he'd made the weight on 24/7, then come weigh-in time he was at 146, making it obvious that he never intended to make 144, either because he couldn't or wouldn't. Luckily for him, Marquez had too much pride(and money) on the line to back out, as Floyd jeopardized the fight happening with that move.

The fight was being **** on by most the fans and media anyway saying the fight was a mismatch. Nobody was paid off, Floyd was just the better man period. I honestly think you are saying this because Manny struggle with him and knowing you, you probably predicted JMM to beat Floyd in one-sided fashion.

Anyway, you asked what I think... and I think your wrong, I doubt he was paid off.

Floyd wasn't the BETTER fighter, he was the mismatched fighter. Y do Floyd fans always say Floyd was the better fighter when
1.He made JMM cum up in weight to much at age 36 for his little body
2.Didn't made the AGREED weight and came in 2 pounds over
3.JMM looked slower and sluggish more then he has ever been
4.JMM last 2 fights at LW before showed he was getting hit more.
5.Was the BIGGER, Faster, More comfortable at that weight man and STILL couldn't knock him out.

JMM has no Business being above 140 and everybody knows that. FLoyd wasn't the better fighter, THE FIGHT WAS A JOKE. Its like making Barrera in his prime go up to Welter to fight WHitaker. Barrera would be sluggish and fat, just like Marquez was. And whitaker would have pot shot easily by being healthier, made him miss badd because of the slowness, etc. would have looked the same.

Floyd has had to face massive fighters to him before.

Dlh, for instance, was 154 weigh in, and rehydrated probably about 10-15 lbs. Floyd fought a 170 DLH. Meanwhile Floyd weighed in at 150... and LOST weight by the time fight night came around. He was 148-149.

Baldomir was much larger than Floyd.

Castillo put on 15-20lbs between weigh in and fight night..

Corrales. put on like 17, i think it was.

Floyd just did to JMM what other fighters have been doing to him his whole career. The only difference is, he won in those situations, and JMM could not.

jmm would never take a dive.

boxing fans were duped into thinking there would be some semblance of fairness when the fight was for the catchweight of 144 lbs, but floyd duped everyone by coming in overweight.

did you not read the articles written about the Marquez vs floyd fight being called a mismatch?

did you not hear or read that most if not all boxing experts predicted an easy floyd victory?
