Do either venues favor either fighter?

The 8 ounce gloves do they really favor Manny and why?

If yoyu think they favor Floyd explain?

Do you think Manny is gong to get in on the fight hype or do you think this fight needs no hype at all?

Do you think FLoyd tries to play mind games like ALi?

Ali was a master of getting inside his opponents head do you think Floyd is trying the sae tatics?.....Lefty

No matter the venue, Pacs going to be the crowd favorite. Floyd has created his persona and now has to deal with it. The gloves won't matter because I'm sure they get to pick the style they want. Floyd will have the usual large pillows, Manny, the punchers glove.

As far as the hype, I don't see Manny getting out of his element. People really underestimate his smarts in the ring as well. You don't learn as much craft as he has in the period of time he has by being ******. Floyd just carries that aura with him, because its been said about him his entire career in contrast to Manny who to came us solely as a one handed brawler. I'm sure Manny may get a bit ticked off, but he comes across as someone who internalizes his anger so I'd be surprised if he got into verbal exchanges to hype up the fight. Thats just not who he is and I don't see that changing soon, especially with Roach in his corner. If anything, Freddie will be the one to engage in that warfare.

and lastly, Floyd isn't bright enough to play mind games like that. He tries, but he just doesn't have it. It came to Ali naturally, Floyd forces it and looks silly in doing so and then apologizing afterwards.

I agree tough test for both fighters manny is finally facing speed and boxing ability and floyd's rest cuz if he slips manny will be on him.its a difficult matchup .hands down i would lean towards floyd but a 2yr retirement and vs a slow j.m.marquez tune up fight ,its a toss up

I agree with your post sir. I think Floyd is a poor mans Ali when it comes to mind games. I think he can be aggrivating but only to fighters who are less mentally stable than PAC. the other points you made about the gloves venue etc I agree 100% but in Vegas he will have maybe 30K fans yelling crap at him in Dallas he will have 100k fans yelling crap at him. Either way like you said he wil be the Villian. me personally I think it will be great to hear the roar of a crowd 100K plus when a combination is thrown or a big punch is landed. Even when Michael Buffer says "LETS GET READY TO RUMBLE"...for what is it worth I think the fight is going to end up in Vegas but i had to say it so I siad it...As I said before replying to Harvey Manny is no longer one handed with one move he has many different ways to get inside and then back out. In every fight he has had above 135 we expected that he be the one trying to get the other fighter off him to stop them from pressuring him and getting to his body but what we have learned is he has had the power to keep them honest. All except Hatton he kept rushing in and look what happened to him.. We might get surprised when Floyd fights PAC and finally see the fight carry out the other way around who knows??....Lefty

Floyd didn't fight Marquez for a tune up or even because he called him out. It was a strategic move. he fought Marquez because besides FMJ JMM was the second biggest money fight out there for PAC. PAC could have used that as a bargaining chip and maybe went with a fight aganst JMM would have sold decent PPV numbers and sold out an arena too boot. FMJ took out JMM by fighting him and beating him handily all the cries of PAC vs JMM IIII are gone. Anyone even mention that? The only thing I have heard is FMJ, PAC and SSM being thrown around...Let me pose another question to all

Stylistically who is the closest to PAc a previous opponent the FMJ has fought?

Remember the closest no one out there is like PAC....

On the flipside Stylistically who is the closest to Floyd a previous opponent the pac has fought?

Remember the closest no one out there is like fLOYD....lEFTY

the only reason it is not easy money is because vegas wont make Mayweather the underdog... Because if they did. It would be EASY MONEY!!

I remember when Oscar was fighting Floyd they brought in Shane Mosley to immitate Folyd style...Any answers or ideas?..../Lefty
