Hopkins would never go out of the U.S.A to fight. He had a real bad time when he did.

At Cruiserweight I would expect Hopkins to get a UD in America.

first off, green isnt any kind of attraction that hopkins would really entertain, there are way better fights in the latter half of his career that the risk reward is way better, the money would be better, and there is something there for his legacy. beating a virtual unknown at cruiser would given hopkins more discredit than it would if he doesn't fight green and fights someone else.

besides that, hopkins isnt going oversea's to fight, maybe a calzaghe fight can bring that about, but you know green is out of his **** if he thinks that they'll get hopkins to go down under to aussieland, thats just absurd, unless he's getting something like 10mil, which isnt in the cards.

hopkins would maul green, style wise, green wouldn't know what to do and from the 3 fights i've seen he doesn't have the punch output and doesn't have the slickness to handle hopkins. hopkins would pick him apart on the inside, frustrate green on the outside, and lull him into traps all fight long. hopkins by wide UD............ maybe even late round drowning........

Are you kidding me? Um didn't he just take a fight with a then undefeated and generally avoided Kelly Pavlick??? Hopkins schooled Pavlik easily and Kelly has some of the heaviest hands in the game. Green isn't even close to the caliber of Pavlik. Hopkins would wear Green out and hardly even get hit. BHop is a technician and has been so successful due to his ability to avoid punishment. If Green did catch him SO WHAT Hopkins has a proven solid chin. He's been clocked by the likes of Trinidad,RJJ,GJohnson,Tarver,Taylor,DeLaHoya etc etc. The man can take a punch. These bandwagon over night Green fans need to wake up and realize the guy beat an over the hill Roy Jones Jr.. Big deal, that doesn't make Green relevent all of the sudden.
