I haven't seen him fight but putting a prospect against Clottey is very risky. He better be ready.

That's a huge step take to take in his young career. Clottey is risky for anyone at WW. I think the right way to go about it is gradual steps up not big leaps. It would be an good match up though and I think he definitely has the skills compete with Clottey.

Its what Jones has tried to do but whenever he had a step up opponent they have pulled out and he ends up fighting an overmatched short notice opponent. So if the offer was available he should take it because its a huge risk and who!? is to say he will get another chance soon enough?

And, like you said if he wins I don't know what else is there for him cuz the elite fighters might avoid him.
I never seen Mike Jones fight... I only heard about him as a good prospect...

Clottey is a tough opponent especially if he had no previous experience with physical strong guys who stand in front of you all the time...

Clottey to me was really a big dissapointment... I always liked him and his style... but in the biggest moments of his career where he could take it to another level he always finds a way to loose... he seems to lack something mentally... but for a still prospect like Jones it would be enough I guess... experience is key
