I am a big Mike Jones fan. I usually don't say this about young unproven fighters but I think he is the truth man. I think is criminal he can't get no TV dates.

Its because whenever he tries to make that step up the opponent backs out......he was supposed to fight Larry Mosely, Ben Tackie, and Richard Gutierrez and they pulled out of fights with him......nothing he can do about it really so if Clottey is offering the chance he should take it.

Clottey deserves a much better and bigger fight than Jones. It's way too risky with little to no reward for him.

Yea Larry Mosley pulled out twice. And, I was excited for the Gutierrez fight. It really my day when I found out he pulled out. I thought that was going to be Mike Jones coming out party. I agree he should that the Clottey fight if its offered. But, damn that is a big step up. And, like you said if he wins I don't know what else is there for him cuz the elite fighters might avoid him.

He is from Philly and could be a draw if he could get some tv exposure.....has an exciting style and is a ko waiting to happen in his fights.

Its a real gamble for him because Clottey isn't an easy fight for anyone but some exposure even if he gets avoided afterwards is better than obscurity.
