On Steve Kim blog he said there is talks of matching Mike Jones against Joshua Clottey in 2010.

Mike Jones will be facing Henry Bruseles if he wins a fight with Clottey can happen.

Is that too big of step up for Jones?

Yeah, haven't seen a lot of him.. But I am pretty sure he is the same age as Berto.. 18 or 19-0.. Decent size kid for welterweight, he has some pop.. just like to see him step up the competition a little. But he is still early in his career, so...

Yes mike jones should not fight him.clottley has a great defence and
can make mike jones look bad.mike should fight other prospects or
veterans.

I think Clottey is too big of a step up for Jones. I wanted to see Jones fight Antwone Smith instead to be honest. 2 WW prospects going at each other. It would be great tv fight for HBO B.A.D or Shobox.

He would go straight to the top of the division if he could beat or even lose a close fight against Clottey.......and become another avoided fighter for the "super stars" to duck.
