Martinez should be 2-0, not 0-1-1, in his last 2 fights

I agree with the Cintron fight though. I want to see a rematch of Pwill and Serg but in my eyes Williams won.
there was a poll on here recently and about 75% of people say martinez beat williams.

It's just my opinion that Martinez clearly won. I can see how others saw it slightly different but that 119-110 scorecard is an outrage.
Yeah in these types of fights a draw would have been great. It would setup a rematch too. I honestly think Paul will duck Martinez (at least for now). Only thing is that Martinez was just coming off a draw so it would have looked more suspect I think. And yes the 119-110 made me sick. That kind of **** disgusts me.

Really? Damn lol. Well like I said I wouldn't have an issue with a Martinez win. I think even the HBO staff were split 50/50 on who won. Honestly I look at all fights without bias. I'm not a nuthugger of anyone (accept a prime RJJ and Duran lol). There's alot of people who wanted Williams to lose and when you watch a fight hating a guy you always give a close decision to the other guy (not because they're liars but because they're eyes see what they want to believe). So while many I'm sure gave an honest opinion alot of voters I'm sure just don't like Williams because his fans overrate him.

            1-1-0, 2-0, or 1-0-1 are fair.

As soon as I heard "and 119..", I immediately said "Bull****". This was before I knew the winner. Neither fighter deserves to win that fight in lopsided fashion.

I agree this fight could have gone either way, and would have been happy with the decision either way. I also agree that one score card was a HUGE error. Personally I thought Williams did a little more than Martinez even though Martinez landed more power shots. I also noticed that Williams caught him flush on alot of those Jabs, they might have "done nothing" to Martinez but those are points in the bank.
That being said Williams won on volume I believe.

Sad when an elite boxer is the victim of incompetent/crooked officiating, worse when it happens to him twice.
                  I could not agree more.

Yup, you are spot on TS. Martinez is the best JMW in the world and if he wants to compete at 160 is in the 5 in my view.

I think he can beat Pavlik.
