  • Good Post on Roach, Pac and Roids.

FROM AN HBO FORUM .DISCOVERED BY GGMARQUEZ......

Like Paulie Malignaggi, Kermit Cintron, Andre Berto and Floyd, Sr, I am now convinced that Manny Pacquiao is a steroid user. Please note that I am using the word "steroids" to encompass all PED's.

    Submitted for your consideration:

]1) Manny Pacquiao went from being a good/solid puncher who wasn't devastating opponents at 130 to being a one-punch guy who is KO'ing bigger men. Manny went 12 rounds with Oscar Larios (a 122 pounder moving up two divisions) but then he KO'd Miguel Cotto. In a short span of time.

I find it odd that the guy who couldn't drop a shot MAB two years ago can now KO David Tua. That is an observation.

    2) Juan Manuel Marquez landed flush on Pac, and stunned/hurt Pac. Miguel Cotto landed flush on Pac to no effect. Observation.

    3) The Wild Card Gym is a hotbed of steroid activity. Many of the athletes at WCG are steroid users. That is fact.

    4) Freddie Roach's other fighters have used steroids previously. That is also documented fact.

    5) Some of the guys that Freddie Roach considers as closest to him are chronic steroid abusers: Mickey Rourke and Sylvester Stallone for example. Documented fact.

    6) Pac's head and hands seemed to have gotten bigger. That has been observed by a lot of people. That is also an indicator of mild acro, which is a hGH side effect. That is a widespread observation. to the extent that cartoons and caricatures were made on boxing boards - even before the steroid revelations arose.

    7) Pac's genetics would not seem to indicate this type of physicality. His mother, his father, his brother. Looking more broadly, Pac would be a statistical outlier as an Asian welterweight. This is not a racist/xenophobic statement, but rather a statement of statistical fact.

    8) I went to college on a wrestling scholarship and I wrestled at a high level. I have made weight A LOT, moved up in weight and been around A LOT of guys who have made weight. The ascent of Pac's physiology seems odd. To not piss people off, let me put it in a positive way, and the way that the commentators have: he seems 'one in a million'. This is an observation.

    9) What we have seen is that when something seems too good to be true recently, it HAS been. I look at guys within boxing who moved up alot in weight: Mosley (roider) Jones (roider), Holyfield (roider), Pazienza (roider), etc. This is fact.

    10) The Philippines are not well known for steroids. Unlike what PBF said. But the PI is well known for a healthcare culture. Many of the immigrants to the US have health-related backgrounds. I've met eleventy billion Filipino nurses, for example. And knocked off a few. Anyway, the Asian Rim (the geographic region, not the sexual trick) does have a thriving market in illicit pharmaceuticals , including steroids, insulin, supplements, bootleg pharma, etc. Most commonly, imported from Chinese labs. This is spec with a basis in fact.

That is a quick 10 of A LOT more....

You are entitled to believe whatever you want. I am not trying to convince anybody. But as a left-brained type of guy, if it seems too good to be true, and if it can't be explained.....

      1) Paul Williams is more overrated than ever.
      2) He looks like the indian dude from Street Fighter.
      3) He falls down like a twig.
      4) Martinez really won.

        Let him have his steriods.
Mayweather isn't a fighter to get bullied (except in the 1st JLC fight, which he lost IMO)
He relies on his quick hands and reflexes.
this will be a good fight.

That post was made by a known Mayweather fan and a pac hater. So of course he is going to say that all of it is lame bro.

lol marquez was never close in hurting pac. just more libel. so many holes in your argument, you look like a tard. for example, you bring up larios, but fail to bring up all the KOs pacquiao has had in the past (where he wasn't as good a boxer at the time). i stopped reading there because it's clear you don't know ****

what the FU.c.K is with this "pac couldnt punch at 130" BS. Pacquiao was damn near the top dog in the p4p punching power department. Marchant once quoted as saying Pacquiao was a "freak of punching power". Pacquiao stopped Morales brutally, stopped Barrera brutally, and decked Marquez a total of 4 times, all 130 and under.

              excuses.

I will say that I dont think he uses although there is some things that are making people think more & more. I also just dont want to beleive it. However, alot of times when it rains it pours. I wouldnt be totally shocked to see another Margarito situation where Floyd dominates Pac and then after the fight we also find out that Pac failed some test.

Again though, I dont even feel comfortable talking about **** like that because I am a big fan and some guys are just special. Just look at Duran. Also, even at the lower weights Pac was a big dude. Maybe he's just more at his natural weight now. Toney moved up and was stopping HW's. If you look at us and not fighters, I could see myself during the same stuff in normal life.

However, I will also say that you cant have it both ways. Like I said, I thinik he was a big cat even at the lower weights that just killed himself to make weight so people need to stop playing him as this little guy who's at such a disadvantge. He isnt. I hate to keep saying the same thing but I remember clearly watching Floyd fight Zab & Baldy at WW coming into the ring at 146 while Baldy was coming in at 165. At the same exact time Pac was at SFW coming into the ring at 147 but everyone tries to act like they are naturaly so far apart. That **** is a joke. They were weighing the same in the ring except Floyd was fighting a guy 20 pounds bigger and Pac was bashing the SFW's

He also stopped Ledwaba at 122 who at the time was considered at worst the 2nd best fighter in that division. And, Pac did that in just 3 weeks notice. But, he had no power...
