How do you know...How do you know what Martinez and countless other boxers have to sacrifice just to get to that next level and stay relevant.

I mean being away from your families for months, the cost of training camp, losing weight, learning technique all so u can get on TV and sometime a loss get you kicked off TV.

So all that hard work to win a fight or perform to the highest standard and some judge robs you, and you are saying nobody livelihood got taken advantage off....are you kidding me?


All these inept judges should at least explain their scorecard instead of going into obscurity like they always do when they are finish doing their famous John Dillinger impression.

What people need to understand is that when have bad officiating sport wide, you are going to lose fans. The scorecard was horrible plain and simple. Its obvious that Mr. Benoist doesn't know more about the sport than we do because if he did he would have had that fight much closer. His scorecard showed that Paul Williams won rounds 3-12. There's no way that happened. I had the fight 115-115.

Couple this bad scorecard with the 2 morons that scored the Funeka fight and the idiot in Texas that scored the Diaz/Malinaggi fight and this demonstrates that you have a serious problem. There plenty of fights in 2009 where the judges blatantly got it wrong. Right now these people don't have to answer to anybody. So it wouldn't bother me if ESPN or a couple of reporters gave them a call.
