Avoiding the question about the rematch with Martinez and instead wants B-Hop next. What do you guys think?
Dan Goosen wants Bernard Hopkins for Paul Williams next.

Martinez was able to rough Williams up and drop him. You don't think Hopkins at 170 (where this fight would be happening), wouldn't do the same? Williams work rate could keep him in the game, but Hopkins has a good tendency (or did, depends how much he still has left) of cutting the fighter's workrate into half.Comment

Now that I know the limit on Paul's chin, he wouldn't be able o take the power punches B-Hop would land.
All the things that keep B-Hop at a high level are Williams weaknesses. Lateral movement, accurate counter punching, and wrestling.Comment

Prior to his fight with Martinez, I worried that Williams punch output would overwhelm Hopkins if the two ever met considering how Calzaghe's flurries of slaps gave him fits. After witnessing the Martinez fight, I'm compelled to give B-Hop a better chance. But with that being said, I don't think Paul Williams approaches a fight with Hopkins, Pavlik, or pretty much anyone else the same way he did with Martinez. He would be foolish if he did.Comment

I'd love to see Steward commend Williams on his street toughness if he takes on Hopkins.
I think Williams was really hurt by the body attack...I think Hopkins will really rough him up. I think it would get really ugly...totally not made for TV type of fightComment

martinez gave 12 rounds of tape for hopkins to study and hopkins is a true student of the game. He would pick up all the bad habbits paul has (which are a lot) and exploit them to the fullest.
I would expect bhop to actually win by KO in the fight.
I like paul williams, he should stick at 154 though and not go up that highComment

B-Hop is not only the executioner but, he's also the king of the southpaws with Calzaghe being the only one to ever gain a victory over Hopkins from that left handed stance.Comment
