It's Bernard Hopkins job to turn the fight down and find an opponent his own size. I know Hopkins would give Williams a beating. But I'd root for Williams to KO that old fucker some how if Hopkins pulled a ***** move like this.

I can see Bhop trying to make this fight, if he cant get a Jones Bhop II to happen. Do I think Pwill can win it? No, but I would be supporting Pwill nonetheless.

        1) Seems like the only figure people look at about William is 6'1 instead of his lost digit. Martinez didn't lay the bluepint, Williams already lost FFS. Quintana to all you cueless people.
        2) Williams always was easy to hit. He's not slick. Infact how can he duck uner shots when he fights people smaller than him.
        3) Williams is difficult because of height. Now Hopkins is 6'1 with more power and is much more crafty than Quintana nd Martinez.
        4) Williams has a chance on Pac and May due to height advantage, but I wouldn't be surprised if both beat him.
        5) Hopkins gives him his first KO lost. Infact Hopkins won't lose to someone coming up from Welter weight ever lol.

Williams would not be able to hurt Hopkins.
          He has poor defense.
Hopkins would probably knock him out.

Funny how Pauls management is going back to wanting him to fight old men after Martinez

            lmao at point 5.
Yeah, there is no reason for this fight to happen, Hopkins should fight a guy his own size for once. Stop with all this smaller guys moving up nonsense.

PWill would be ****** to take this. We all know what BHop does to welterweights.

I could see this scenario playing out.

Man I don't wanna see this fight. That would be a lot weight to put on than drop back down for him I think. Plus come on there are too many other good young opponents out there...not to mention giving Martinez a damn rematch.

Its funny how everyone thinks paul williams will lose his next fight.....now no matter whos on the table, you guys will bet against williams....

Now, i gotta admit that some of you guys are right on this 1...i think b-hops punch and clinch style is going to cut down pw punch out put, frustrate his and make him lose...yes i said it....i think b-hop at 170 would be too much....i have to much respect for b-hop to think he can lose to pw....i still dont belive he lost to calzaghe or taylor....

It's a boring fight. Even if PW wins, it would look similar to the Calzaghe - Hopkins match where Calzaghe threw hundreds of weak slaps to keep Hopkins off him.

Judges care too much about the quantity of punches rather than the quality. I mean, that's not even a real boxing style. My sister would probably fight that way.
