This is really a pick em fight.at first I thought 146 pounder would easily pot shot and hold and grab all night and just the smarts that 146 pounder has that he would be able to keep it at his pace.march 13th can't here fast enough, this will most definately break the ppv number that 146 pounder and olden boy had.just hope this will live up to the hype , I think it will..

No doubt about it. The Pacquiao versus Mayweather fight would be the greatest fight in boxing history. They both are great boxers.

the promotion will be fine...if you think about it, this may be the one event in all of sports that really doesn't need promotion. most of my friends aren't even into boxing like i am, and they were asking me about manny-floyd, after manny beat hatton.

Ali's trash talking put boxing on the map and Mayweather is carrying the torch. This fight wouldnt be this big if it wasn't for Mayweather. Manny aint the only one hyped for this fight I have a feeling he's gonna bring out the best in Floyd that's why I predict a Mayweather stoppage.

the good guy-bad guy scenario is classic. the fight would still be big, but it wouldn't have quite the same feel to it, if the public didn't have a guy to root for (pacquiao), and a guy to hate (mayweather). another reason this fight will be unlike any other is b/c despite the **** a lot of ppl talk, they recognize mayweather's skills, and although they would never OPENLY admit it, he IS the best boxer in the world. what you have in this fight, that you really haven't had in any of his other fights, is a guy that has a legitimate chance to dethrone him, and that's why the public will go crazy. i agree with you tho, manny will actually bring out the best in mayweather, and after the fight, you'll have a lot of ppl giving the guy props, that haven't done so before. great fight, 2 great fighters, but this fight defines floyd's career.

to add even more to that statement, both are very fast. I havent seen a fight like this. I dunno why they compare this to ali frazier, leonard hearns. What we got here are two best fighters who are fast, good footwork, accurate, good power. This is defense vs offense. There has never been such a fight in boxing history. I just hope the fight happens in may so that alot more people are gonna hear bout the fight and alot more hype.

use your head....by that same token, i could suggest that manny beat an even older version of oscar than may did, an i won't even touch the weight draining thing.....manny beat an already "damaged by mayweather" version of hatton, and manny just beat a damaged version of cotto.

You're correct sir...thats the only reason Floyd's going 50-50. Manny is just as big a draw right now, and Ellerbe knows it. Floyd still wins though.
