Aight. Cool. I just didn't seem him as being 14 pounds (two divisions) heavier than his 146 fight-night weight for Judah.

and from what I understand neither one has actually signed the bout agreement (the contract that states the terms and actual details of the fight) moreso than they have agreed in principle to the basic terms.

Mayweather agreed on his part to his terms, Arum went to the Philipinnes where Manny agreed to his terms

thats where we are at. Now that we have both sides essentially agreeing to fight next if all terms are okay only then will it go to an actual signed contract to fight

ESPN's report seems to be in line with what people are thinking

8oz gloves but both can choose their brand (Reyes for Manny Grant for Mayweather is the assumption)

my guess is ring size will be the standard 20x20

and I have to think this fight will be in Vegas its going to pony up a ton of dough then close circuit this ***** to death

You're right, and I worded that poorly.

As I bolded in the article above, other locations vary from nevada. The article says 'virtulally every OTHER location...", and i should have worded my reply better.

          Thanks, playa.

I have no doubt this bout will happen March 13th. These minor details will be ironed out rather quickly. They were talking about having an announcement this Tue on Arums 78th birthday. It will get done!

Kiser was very specific about saying that Nevada is 2 ft rings. And a promoter could request a modification , but would likely not get it.

He cleared that up when Team Cotto said that Pac asked for a ring size change.

Damn I'm hoping it will land in D-Town.. The cowboys were trying to have a game sell-out there and it didn't.. but if they were to have the fight and price it right the whole stadium would be packed, even the only standing room area as well..

My homey's from Austin and Tone would def make the trip up there to catch it on the biggest HD Screen in the world.

I'm sure Floyd always complains about how he knocked out Hatton going backwards with 10 oz gloves on and how that is different to knockin him out early with 8 oz's on....why does he want 10 oz now? I am gonna refuse to believe anything unless both camps say somethin about it. They are both gonna say that the other camp said this and demanded that so that they can get leverage and turn public against their opponent.

Pac and floyd always fight with 8oz gloves now floyd wants the fight with clown gloves on. This 154 bs is a ***** move by Floyd plain and simple.

Btw, Arum also signed a contract with ABS-CBN (Philippines Television Network) as the sole television network in the Philippines to telecast fights that are promoted by Top Rank.

I don't think anyone is making a big deal of the visit. It's just that the word "signed" was used in the reports, and it seems logical that Arum would have gotten the contract executed while he met a MP
