If true, imo Floyd wants it at 154 cuz he was probably around 160 against JMM. Then again we'll never know.
I don't think he was as high as 160. His 30-day weight for Oscar was 152. and he was 150 at that weigh-in. Ten pounds of lean muscle on Floyd's 5'8" frame would look ill.

In truth, they don't have to be done until Xmas week...right?

The guys are going to camp in Mid-jan? Is that roughly when?

Floyd's hands remain bad. in a fight where he expects to have to throw alot, he can't damage his hands.

I'm trying to put myself in his mind frame.
Yeah, I am thinking Floyd will agree on the 147 weight, but will push for the 10oz gloves...

It could be a problem though Packy wont fight with 10oz.

I thought he used 8oz gloves against Marquez? I could be wrong but i did think that was the size of the gloves...

and does the 2 ounces really matter? If he is thinking that he will have to throw a lot more to fight Pac..is the 2 oz's going to make that much of a difference if he will be throwing twice as much?

Also he has had much more time to rest from the fight against JMM, you'd think he'd be 100 percent going into training

If there was no execution of a contract, why did Arum have to go in person? What couldn't be done on the phone?

"manny, here is where we are and what they are proposing: A, B & C. What do you think? can you roll with that?"

not just ESPN, also the LA Times today...alot of media outlets are really pushing for this fight...and understandably so

as for Arum going to the Philippines, is that really such a big deal for you? i've seen you mention it on more than one occasion

maybe he's old school and likes to do things in person?
maybe he can't understand manny over the phone?
maybe he wants to talk directly to his fighter and not have other people answering for him?
maybe a multi-million dollar bout is needs more delicate care than a phone call?
maybe Arum met a chick over there?

who f'n cares? i mean, besides you

If I remember correctly, Floyd has said in intervies when he accepted the ODLH fight, Oscar wanted the fight at 154 and that he also wanted to use 10 oz gloves, mayweather then said that he wanted to use 8oz gloves but since ODLH had all the leverage he went ahead and fought on his terms..

So all 154lb nad over fights use ten oz gloves?

Cuz Floyd would rather get hit with pac's punch wearing 10 oz gloves instead of 8oz gloves. Floyd is a smart fraud.

Nobody signed a contract yet....that is why there are kinks needed to iron out the contract....Pac only agreed in principle regarding the date ,purse split and weight limit of the fight

But he was rested 21 months going into Marquez. i'm sure that going in, his hands felt great. I dunno. I'm kinda postulating based on his Winning Gloves. And what I have heard him and others say.
