he knows he just can't beat him.

Anyone who felt they were wronged, would be more than willing to settle the score, especially since Tonys hands from here on out will be more documented than the JFK shooting.

Cotto was one of my favorite boxers and not just because I'm Puerto Rican. I think hes a good fighter, but not great and I agree with alot of you that he has one of the best resumes out there for the WWs. But after the Pac fight, I have come to the realization that he is mentally weak and I don't think a new corner will help this. I don't want to see him fight Marg again because it will be sad watching him destroyed and I believe he will be. I think it was telling how in the 24/7 they said how in one of his first fights he came back crying and eventually vowed to never let that happen again. Cotto for better or worse is still that child deep down inside and that's who he is. The years of training have added layers of psychologically defense to protect that, but with the dismissal of Evangelista, I think it has all come back. I don't know if you guys agree with me but I think its possible to feign toughness and exude strength and beat other "boxers." But some boxers like Margarito and Pacman are warriors and they can smell his fear instantly. All this is sad to say because like I said he was my favorite, but I can not lie to myself anymore. He will never be a Trinidad.

The fact remains, his wraps in that fight were signed off as good to go.

I honestly think even if Marg did cheat he didn't need to. Marg would have destroyed Cotto plaster or not. I don't know how people can't see that Cotto has no heart and Evangelista has been his balls all these years pushing him.

who says margarito will get a big payday? i'm sure he'd be willing to take a big monetary hit in order to prove that his 1st fight with cotto was no fluke..or after all he can come back to LA and everyone knows can sell out again vs a joe shmo'.. it's not a secret.. if he was cheating like a lot of people call it with resto/collins.. then he'd be doing time.. i think that the CA state commission put their foot in their mouth too soon.. and had no choice but to upheld the suspencion to avoid looking dumb..i wish they would of done what the NY state commission did when trinidad got caught, and looked the other way!!but tony will get reinstated.. he will either 1 of 2.. come back to the top, or fade like a fart in the wind.. but i will tell you this.. he fights anywhere theres a deceant hispanic comunity, he sells.. his fanbase exploded thanks to the cotto win no doubt.. but only people not wanting this fight are the people that know cotto is done.. lost to margarito and their excuse was "margarito belongs at middleweight.. fight your own size, blah blah blah" but now that he got stopped vs pacman.. no excuses? i mean pac was a lightweight not long ago.. if cotto wants to make money and do his job, for his fans.. erase the doubts that everyone has.. and redeem himself..

If you're referring to that non-event about Trinidad having to rewrap his bandage, you should know by now that there was absolutely nothing to it.

What happened was that one of Trinidad's fists had been wrapped before his opponent's guy got there to inspect. But the Commission guy was there.

Papa Trinidad later gave a video'd, systematic reprise of his bandaging technique, and it was PERFECTLY LEGAL.

He said he always has wrapped the hands the same way. And here is what he showed us.....


He wrapped so that a bit more than an inch of wrapping protruded straight on, past the knuckles. He then folded that protrusion back on the knuckle, basically doubling the protection of the knuckle. Then he completed the bandaging, keeping that turned part right over the knuckles. PERFECTLY LEGAL.

But, Hopkins' guy kicked up a fuss because he was late and didn't see the act......so Papa Trinidad unwrapped the single fist, and redid it , exactly the same way. PERFECTLY LEGAL !

When has he done that? Mosley is a very popular fighter from Cali. thats part of why it was sold out in the first place!

Cheato is the first winner of a fight to go around chasing the loser for a rematch in boxing history. Cottos raised his bum ass out of the gutter the first time and Cheato even thanked Cotto for taking the fight no one else wanted, Now he wants Cotto to lift him out of the gutter again.
