Are you suggesting that Dawson beats the CW version of Adamek?
Last I heard, Hopkins is universally a top 5 P4P fighter. You don't get outboxed by a top P4P fighter and get dismissed as finished. Fact remains, Tarver dominated Woods more impressively than the current titleholder Cloud.

Dawson's movement, jab, and combination won him that fight. The jab and body shots landed consistently, Dawson was outboxing Johnson in every round. The only early rounds Johnson won were because he'd buzz Chad and steal the round he got outboxed in for 2 minutes of.

Yes, the way Dawson beat Adamek the first time, his tightened up defense, and his willingness to stick to a game plan, tells me it'd be another Dawson win. Though it'd be a closer and better fight. Just watch the first 6 rounds of the Banks fight, it tells me all I need to know about how Adamek handles movement and counter punching.

Heavyweights can be on it, but who the **** has Wlad beaten?

If fighters got on the P4P list for how they destroyed opponents, Edwin Valero would be top 3. Wlad needs to beat his brother if he wants to be in there.
Chagaev, Peter, Ibragimov, Byrd. It doesn't matter your opinion on those fighters, what matters is their rankings. And that resume is better than Caballero, Williams and Chad. Wlad should be on the p4p list plain and simple.

hw's not belonging on the list is a myth.

Because Wlad uses his height and reach to have an advantage over all of his opponents. If he was the same size as the other guys, he wouldn't be so dominant.

its a bit unfair for wlad because you have to ask in theory would his style be effective at lower weights ( which is the point of p4p lists) and i dont think it would be but at the same time his accomplishments at heavyweight speak for themselves.

what does his size and fighitng style got to do with this rankings? thats not how rankings work. they are based on resume not size and fighting style.

P4P is to say, if two fighters are the same size, who would win?

Pound for pound is the term used in boxing, mixed martial arts, and other combat sports to describe a fighter's value in relation to fighters of different weight classes. In boxing, Ring Magazine's pound for pound list is the established standard for ranking fighters pound for pound. Because of the emphasis on the size of the boxer, pound for pound ratings predominantly feature fewer heavyweights, focusing primarily on boxers middleweight or below.

It can also be used to describe how any two things compare when bearing in mind their varying quan******. For example, a tin of tomatoes weighing 250 g and costing $2.50 is more expensive, pound for pound, than one weighing 500 g and costing $4 (as the former costs $1.00 per 100 g and the latter $0.80 per 100 g).

People read this and understand what P4P is please.

Mike Tyson(the heavyweight champion)was consistently ranked as the best p4p fighter in the world by many boxing publication's during his peak. All Wladimir can do is beat the best in his division and he has done so with dominance.Wladimir is unbeaten in nearly six years, has consistently fought the best in his division and dominates opposition like no other fighter in the sport.

Unfortunately for Wladimir,he is not an overrated whiner like Paul Williams,he is not a matchmaking extrodinare like Manny Pacquiao and he is not the boxing equivalent to an abusive retirement home carer like Chad Dawson.

Wladimir Klitschko is a class act and a credit to this sport and unlike some,we will miss him when he's gone.
