Because he's a HW he gets no respect.

Klitschko brothers deserve more respect, it's not their fault the HW division sucks.

A few of those guys you mentioned fit in to more than 1 category. Rahman and Toney are old and out of shape.

You guys can't be serious with this ****.

The last 3 years Dawson has Adamek, Tarver (2x), and Johnson (2x). All 3 are better fighter than anyone Wlad has ever faced. Let alone, the fighters he's faced the last 3.

Tyson is the original p4p #1

no, p4p was not made in spite of the hw's. It was made to include ALL the divisions along with the hw's.

Overrated Tarver and Glen "13 losses" Johnson were both washed up senior citizens when they fought Dawson.

Adamek was totally weight drained and sick for the Dawson fight. He was killing himself to make 175. That's why he moved up 25 lbs to cruiserweight. Sick weight drained Adamek still managed to knockdown and badly hurt Dawson and win the last 3 rounds.

          Adamek destroys Dawson at cruiserweight.

The ages of Dawson's last 4 opponents add up to 160, and I thought he lost the first fight with Johnson. Adamek was a good win, but judging by his success immediately after moving up, I'd say it's safe to say he was struggling a bit to make weight. No one doubts Dawson's physical gifts, but he's yet to prove himself p4p material to me.

Heavyweights have been on it, but don't try to exaggerate. The term was made for Sugar Ray Robinson and I've never seen Tyson P4P #1 in a past magazine ranking.

Heavyweights can be on it, but who the **** has Wlad beaten?

If fighters got on the P4P list for how they destroyed opponents, Edwin Valero would be top 3. Wlad needs to beat his brother if he wants to be in there.

Still better than anyone Wlad's ever fought... and he didn't have to outweigh them by 20+ pounds either.

It doesn't matter what their age was as long as they're still top fighters. Tarver beating Woods better than Cloud shows that. I scored the first Johnson fight for Dawson, so whatever, we can compare scorecards if anything.

Adamek averages around 40 punches per round and given Dawson's southpaw stance, counter punching, slickness, and movement, it's what I attribute the low output to. The only thing different from the cruiserweight version of Adamek is some added speed and power, which will only make the fight closer than 10-2 or 9-3.

Hopkins proved that Tarver was finished, Woods is garbage these days. There certainly didn't appear to be any reason for Dawson to fight him twice. Chad was hitting gloves all night against Johnson the first time and he waited long enough for the rematch to let Glenn age.

Are you suggesting that Dawson beats the CW version of Adamek?

No it wasn not created to leave off HW's. P4P is a list that disregards weight, but style, resume, and recent form all play an important part in deciding where boxers are ranked within it.

Klitschko should be ranked higher than both Williams and Dawson.

In reference to Dawson, he could have an arguement in his favor due to wins over Adamek, Johnson and Tarver. But a win over B-Hop or Cloud would surely help his cause.
How the hell is Nonito Donaire, Miguel Cotto, Celestino Caballero, Chad Dawson, Paul Williams All ranked in the top 10 P4P but not Wlad??....
