I see what your saying but this is a little... a hell of lot different. Hopkins is 45 do you think he can put on the right type of weight to prepare him against not only an elite HW but a HW with special hand speed and power. Hopkins hasn't went up in weight to fight anybody in the past but now at 45 he wants to... he's got to be losing it. I hope he isn't serious about this fight it would be a seriously brutal ending to his career.

it took Haye 3 years to prepare himself to step up full time to the heavyweight division.

In his last 2 years as a crusier he was killing himself to make the weight. Hopkins not only doesn't have time to put on that kind of weight he will need to wait a long time because Haye has maybe 4/5 fight left MAXIMUM and they don't include Hopkins.

He wants all those belts then he's retiring.

Haye is the next coming of jesus christ after beating slow-plodding Valuev who 4 fighters in total probably beat him. I thought Holyfield beat him, and some say Ruiz got robbed. Who actually is good at Heavyweight that Haye has beaten so far? He was favored against Valuev the last time I checked, I mean I favored him by a mile. I would throw down a bet with you if this fight happens but seeing as how Hopkins is already being severely written off after an exciting fight with a swarmer type of boxer after a 13 month lay off, i'll want odds with that I know he'll be the heavy underdog as always
