Definitely a winable fight for Hopkins, I don't buy that it isn't. Haye is fast and powerful but he can be outboxed, it's just a dangerous, dangerous fight for a 45 year old smaller guy to take. Gets respect for it but he may end up hurt from it as Joe says. I see Dawson and Haye being equally as difficult for Hopkins but for different reasons.

If Hopkins fights and beats either Haye or Dawson he will make me a believer of his greatness.

Haye is a beast no matter what. I respect Bernard for his accomplishments, but going against Haye, he will be the one getting executed. Go for Dawson or somebody you might have a chance at beating.

I agree with all that u said, but I think wat BHop is doing is saying to himself if I'm going fight a young fast strong fighter I minds well go out with a **** if I may lose anyway. So he baitin Haye over Dawson. See Haye makes the fight he will **** talk with Hop and it will build way more $$$$ than a Dawson match. I know its boxing i feel u but lets be real its money first then a sport second

Haye would knock Hopkins head off. Dude should retire he's going to keep pushing himself till he ends up crippled.

Haye may hurt him but Dawson would be a close point fight. Hop got lik 1 maybe 2 good fight left and that dont mean he wins them it jus means it will be close. So to say he need to retire nah his age says he should but not his body. Hop didnt take hit in his career so he's not punched out yet

I'm laughing at you people that think BHOP would get knocked out. BHOP has shown just a sturdy chin as James Toney and Lights out got smashed by Sam Peter and didnt get knocked out. BHOP would not get hit flush anyway. He may lose but he damn sure ain't gettin knocked out.

You're actually going to compare how Hopkins would do against Haye by talking about the Ornelas fight Spray? Ornelas is a swarmer, Haye is not. Styles make fights, Haye can not beat Hopkins. Now I really want this fight to happen. I hope it does.

Hopkins would UD Haye. He'll systematically break him down. Let's not forget you need pressure+workrate or Footwork+handspeed to beat Hopkins. If you don't have one of those two combinations then you will not beat Bernard Hopkins. Haye has speed and power, speed and power does not beat a fighter like Hopkins unless you have speed, power, workrate and footwork. Haye doesn't even have stamina.

Haye would be taken to school by Hopkins' counterpunching. It'll be Hopkins vs Tarver all over again.

that would be something to see, your post made me want to see this fight lol. I still think hop will lose but u make it sound like i may be wrong.
