You're seriously comparing Pavliks power to Hayes?Power does not beat Hopkins. Hopkins has proven that time after time. If I had a dime for every tread I read about Pavlik talking about If i land flush it's over, i'd be rich. He never landed anything because he relied on his power, power, and power and just ended up getting schooled.

Its never going to happen any way, Hopkins is just bluffing. I remember all his talk about fighting Toney, Maskeev and Jones none of those fights happened.Comment

Idc if Ornelas was a LW coming up in weight. Styles make fight and Ornelas swarming style is more difficult than neutralizing 'power'. If power is all you're thinking about against Hopkins then you're in for a big surprise.Ornelas is a c class MW who put up a decent fight against supposedly one of the best LHWs in the world and you want me to believe he could be competitive with Haye who is bigger, faster, an excellent boxer in his own right, and ko's almost everyone he fights at CW and HW?
Let's not ignore all the **** people talked leading up to Tarver-Hopkins how Hopkins won't handle Tarver's power and how he was gonna get ktfo. What happened in that fight?Comment

Sorry but Tarver and Pavlik and any other light heavyweight and below don't hit anywhere near as hard as Haye.Idc if Ornelas was a LW coming up in weight. Haye doesn't just have power.
He has good boxing skills. He is former World Amateur Silver medalist, he has quick hands and can get around the ring very quickly.
I have watched Haye since he started as a pro and seen some of his amatuer fights on video, I know what I've seen is just too much for Hopkins.
Hopkins, imo, only took that fight last night simply because he had to or faced being taken off the P4P rankings.Comment

Haye now is much better than then 36yr old counter punching Tarver.....in addition to B-hop always having been a LHW realistically, so Tarver may have had a slight size advantage and thus reason to still be cautious of B-hop's power. This is also a B-hop a few years younger and better. I don't see really what very quick, strong, and skilled 215lb Haye has to be cautious of in 45 yr old LHW B-hop.Idc if Ornelas was a LW coming up in weight. I see what your saying but this is a little... a hell of lot different. Hopkins is 45 do you think he can put on the right type of weight to prepare him against not only an elite HW but a HW with special hand speed and power. Hopkins hasn't went up in weight to fight anybody in the past but now at 45 he wants to... he's got to be losing it. I hope he isn't serious about this fight it would be a seriously brutal ending to his career.Comment
