He even said if i dont get tyson I am done with the interview with larry merchant. Jones got KO and at the time i was happy only because i won on a bet, there is no excuse he got caught. I know that in pensacola there was a hurricane that killed alot of his fighting birds since they escaped from their cages and than they fight to the death. Jones loved his birds and had property damaged. Lewis also got Kod by Rahman and Mccall and i still rate Lewis very high as HW, the point is Jones took a fight for the public and didnt duck.
At MW fans wanted to see Roy against McClellan, McCallum, Julian Jackson, I remember there was talking about a dream match at a catchweight of 157 against Terry Norris that never happened... at 168 there McCallum, Benn, Nunn, Litte, Liles, Eubanks, Collins, McClellan. Those fights never happened. He finally fought McCallum when the body snatcher was passed his best at age 40. He didn't fight the best fighters out there. Yes we can say he coould/would of won those fights. But, that doesn't count you don't win fights on paper...

Aaron Pryor should of went up and fight at 147 like Duran did. Force the hand a lil bit more. And, Leonard did offer Pryor a fight. But, I guess it was a low ball offer and Pryor turned it down. But, maybe should of taken the half a mil and beat Leonard and he would of gotten more after that.

And, yes Lewis got KO'd twice but he avenged those losses. And, I consider Lewis a border line ATG.

I think you can also argue he really was the only person to beat Hopkins in middleweight from 1992-mid 2005 when Taylor got a split decision win. Hopkins only loss prior to Joner jr was at LHW. If you look at JOnes jr his resume and level of competition is quite good. ALMOST any fighter can be said to have ducked 1 or 2 guys. Even my favorite fighter SRL never fought Aaron Pryor.
Leonard vs Pryor was never ever mooted, so talk of Leonard ducking Pryor is a myth

Your timeline is WAY off. By the time a Mcllelan fight could be made he was paralyzed. Nice try though.
