No tuneups pre-fight, considering all previous fights... if Floyd beat Manny would you rank him higher in your all time P4P list?

I'm a Pacquiao fan. If Floyd does win, I don't see any reason for him to not be the P4P champ.

Floyd goes to #1 right now, no doubt
But is a win over Manny enough to send him higher in the all time list.

For the record, for me he doesn't.

          Why?

Many people consider Pacquaio top 20ATG or better. How does that not improve your ATG spot?

In my opinion, Manny's resume is superior to Floyds
So a win over Pac wouldn't value Floyd being higher in my all time list
It would be close, but I have Pac ahead.

Let's say he beats Pac. He would need to fight a couple more natural welters to garner consideration. I am afraid to say it, but Mayweather's right about what people will say if he beats Pac, in that he's supposed to beat him because he's the bigger man. However, in no way has Floyd taken the career risks that Pac has taken at this point, so I'd say he has a little more to prove before he leaps Pac in the all time P4P.

p4p yes, if he beats manny he's 1# p4p in the sport....

As for all time great list, not a chance.

Aaron Pryor beat Alexis Arguello 2x but you will never find a all time list ranking pryor ahead of arguello. Same situation here, unless mayweather keeps fighting & gets more wins & pac doesnt.

In the current P4P rankings, yes.
In the All-Time P4P rankings, no.

In order for Floyd to be a top 10-20 ATG he has to do what Pac has done.

Beating Pac in itself isnt much because true greatness is all about the bigger picture.

Which is a boxer's accomplishments as a whole.

Floyd wasted his career by ducking.
