Thats funny, you mean a guy who starved himself for years to gain his advantage maybe?he is smart. he waited till 2 overhyped scrubs got their grubby little mitts on world titles. then he beat them and pretended that was a great accomplishment. then he "beat" hopkins(a blown up middleweight) by controversial decision and beat roy jones who can't take 1 solid punch without going down into a break dance routine. he's so smart he fooled you into thinking that's a great career.
A guy who was reduced to faking low blows to survive the fight?
Long live the king, king calzaghe LOL, oh the painComment

Everything after the "nevermind" did not apply to you. I know you're not good at English so I'll let you have your little pithy attempt at an insult.
Suffice to say everything after that word was just aimed at the thread and Joe Queens in general.
Have a nice day.Comment

Uh right, meanwhile you're actually proud of his win over Jones. Just shows what a complete ****ing ****** you are.
You also think Joe saying "Come to me welsh ice rink and fight me" by Joe constitutes a real challenge and not empty posturing.
God you are slow.Comment

That's fine. I'm not out to defend Joe in a nuthugging way, but I suppose my interpretation can be valid. It was during a one on one interview - which I read when it came out. Please note that Curtis McCormick used to cover Calzaghe extensively. June 28, 2003. It's been posted on here many times but I'm too lazy to do a search. The full article is just Joe talking about his career. And what he said about Jones was what he said. No "out of context" at all. But Smash and co are said so they'd rather go with his other quotes they like better
In any case Jones was shot to **** when Joe fought him. Everybody, with the possible exception of Reed, knew that.Comment

I thought you were ignoring me?? At least your actually quoting me directly now, a start anywayAt the end of the day, you also saw and read that he said he didn't want to fight Roy Jones. (2003)
At the end of the day, you also saw and read that he thought Jones was too shot to fight. (2007)
At the end of the day, your boxing knowledge begins with Joe's hair and ends at his feet.Comment
