This should be branded onto every Joe zombies face. I love that excuse. Joe used to say that regularly. What a ******.

Sloppy Joe is just a guy who beat a bunch of ex champs after they lost their title and beat a never was (Kessler & Lacy) has been Roy Jones.

I dont count Hopkins as Calzaghe did not beat him. You have to land to score.

you see the problem is your perception is skewed from jones' loses in the past couple of years. In the 90's, Jones was so far beyond every fighter, that even the really good fighters would know that Jones was a guaranteed loss so the only thing they could get out of it was money. and if they didn't get a big enough revenue split they wouldn't fight him. Believe it or not, Jones was practically at god like status and nobody wanted anything to do with him unless they were dead broke and needed the money.

All true. Just remember WHAT BELT Joe sat on for over 10 years. WBO. LOL. In the 90s that amounted to 2 things: Jack and ****.

Want to look at who he unified with Joe queens? I wouldn't. It's ugly.

At the end of the day, you also saw and read that he said he didn't want to fight Roy Jones. (2003)

At the end of the day, you also saw and read that he thought Jones was too shot to fight. (2007)

At the end of the day, your boxing knowledge begins with Joe's hair and ends at his feet.

Do you have a learning disability? Or do you just purposely just ignore thinking about anyone and repeat Joe's catch phrase over and over? How long have you been watching boxing? Not more than five years max I bet.

What the **** does "saying and reading" Joe have to do with anything? Joe wanted to fight ROY IN JOE'S BACKYARD. You don't see what a ****ing JOKE of a challenge that is?

                    That's it.

When you add stuff like "they could have happened" or "Jones ducked..." or "avoided" then you are NOT being objective. Sorry bro. The fact that you think the Mclellen fight could have happened at all is an indicator of this seeing as that by the best time for that fight to happen came up he was long since paralyzed.

Nevermind Nigel Benn's empty video challenges of fighting Roy (but only in me backyard!) and then his later retractions saying he was too old and didn't want to fight him.

                    Or Collins empty posturing.

                    Give me a break.

If you want to spin it that's fine, but be honest that that's what you are trying to do. Like someone else this thread could be done times 30 for Kessler (and I'm sure it has been ) and that would be very very ugly.
What are you talking about? I never claimed anything about McClellan or posted a vid of Benn?

Did you forget the Vicodin today?

Go and read Eubanks book and what he said about Roy Jones before you say Roy Ducked him.
