hopefully not. ODLH vs Floyd was the biggest hyped fight ever because of 24/7, (not necesarily for the fight itself) and it almost killed boxing. Teh last minutes of that 24/7 was intense. Floyd was promising blood and he was going to be a warrior in there. Instead we saw him bounce around and potshot, none of them had a mark on their face. Everyone I was with watching the fight was like "wtf". Huge letdown to the mainstream, and boxing community. It was like a regular ESPN match with no crowd, it didnt seem like a mega fight afterwards.
But this is Manny fighting, not old DLH. I remember at the time I didnt think ODLH still had it before he fought floyd.

I just dont want the mma community especially Dana White to come out and be like, "You see Boxing always robs the audience with this ****"

But like everybody had already mentioned, it's all gonna be Floyd with his "i fight for checks" and "legacy don't pay bills" motto.
Sad but true.

and how 2501 said in a thread I saw before..if you want just ALL OUT BRAWLS..watch UFC..or go on Youtube and search for Kimbo street fights..
This is boxing.."The Sweet Science" you can't just love one style and hate the rest..
I'll admit..I like toe to toe exchanges but I like defense and smarts too..hence why I like mainly boxer/punchers but when you got the best offense clashing with the best defense..I can't see it being boring at all!..
and FUCK the casuals..they'll do what they always do..complain and moan but still tune in..I'm worried about my own liking of the fight..only way I see a disappointment is if they clash heads and it ends early in a NC or an early decision..ha!..

This fight will be hyped as the biggest fight in our era if not all time. Every single person you know is going to watch the fight, it is going to shatter pay per view records, and no matter who wins, come Monday morning when you all hit school/work all the people there are going to be bitching how boring the fight was and how they wasted 55 bucks on the fight. Not to mention 2 hours of what i anticipate to be a ****ty and boring undercard.
I am just giving you all a heads up. These blockbuster fights never live up to expectations these days. Say what you want about this thread but i guarantee the general American public is going to be extremely unsatisfied with the fight.
