And yet he fights a fat out of shape lightweight JMM with more than 3 loses, but he thinks or said that Cotto is damged goods, yeah that makes perfect sense. How the hell would he know that Cotto is damaged goods in the first place after Cotto's first loss.

The commentators said that Mayweather was either gonna be out of the sport for 2 years or officially. This was during the Mayweather vs. Hatton fight and look, he was out for 2 years.
LOL!!!!!!! As if Mayweather haven't used one of those lines before.

I was watching Cotto vs Gomez and I realize why Gayweather ducked Cotto. Cotto was a vicious welter. To sum it up, because Cotto was Gayweather size a d in the top 2.

As per 24/7, the megabout was unavoidable the moment Hatton talked **** in the postfight Castillo interview. The exact quote was Mayweather to Ellerbe(from their Kingsize bed): "Make the ****ing fight happen!" The rest ladies and gentlemen.. is history.

"'Ellerbe criticized Cotto's HBO and pay-per-view ratings, and said the Puerto Rican is not fiscally or historically appealing enough.'

'It has nothing to do with Cotto's ability or talent, because I happen to believe he's a very good fighter,' Ellerbe said. 'I just don't think he brings enough to the table. Right now, he's not a draw in boxing. Outside of the hardcore press, nobody cares. If nobody's watching, what makes the guy important?'"

This was after Mayweather beat Hatton and Cotto beat Mosley.
