If he does this, and beats Mosley, he'll have more negotiation power over Pac..

If Berto beats Mosley, I just see Floyd figthing Pac right away.

It depends on the fight in January.

kinda sucks how its December and both fighters have no upcoming fights lined up and they're waiting the outcome of a fight in January...****'s ******ed

2 tune ups in a row!

Doesn't that make you angry as a fan?
I never viewed Marquez as a tune up. I'm talking about Mayweather facing a south paw, also a fight of this magnitude needs more then 3 months of promotional time.

this Novela is never gonna end, floyd-pac aint happening. floyd aint risking his "0" at all. pac should enjoy his money and wait for the winner of mosley vs cotto II, thats like 30-45 mill garanteed. by the time may is done with his tune-ups (we will never know) pac will be a lot richer and probably a governor in the PHI.

I think you guys are trippin for two reasons. 1) we haven't even heard anything from mayweather's camp on this and if we have can you provide a link so I can be enlightened? 2) He just got off an almost 2 year layoff and is fighting the current lb4lb best in the world is it so crazy to want a tuneup to insure that your sharp 2 months before. I don't get why yall are so mad. The dude has expressed his desire to be made but because he doesn't reportedly say great immediately to a two month push up of the fight now he's dodging.

No disrespect towards you, but information from credible sources outweigh assumptions from fans. Even mine. That's why I'm going with those in the position to report such things.

After the Baldomir fight, Floyd fans said, "Now, he's gonna fight Margarito, dont worry". That didn't happen.

After the DLH fight, Floyd fans said, "Now he's gonna fight Cotto, don't worry". That didn't happen.

After the Hatton fight, Floyd fans said, "Now he's gonna fight Cotto. This time for real". That didn't happen. He retired.

Floyd announced he was coming back, Floyd fans said, "Now he's gonna fight Cotto, Mosley, Pacquiao, he's back to fight the best" and what? He chose to fight JMM and now another tune up.

I mean seriously, all Floyd has showed us is that he's interested in doing the least amount of work for as much money as possible. thats it.

Disagree, Jeff was rumored saying that Mayweather is training for a fight right now. This was also confirmed by Roger Mayweather and Roger said he couldn't reveal who the opponent is gonna be. Mayweather vs. Pacquiao might happen around June I think. Mayweather has showed alot of interest in fighting in the U.K and as I've said, a fight of this Magnitude deserves more then 3 months of promotional time.

So then you're saying Marquez was made as a competitive bout?

                  I fully agree with that.

I wish those two would just accept 50-50, but all these other excuses stem from their inability/unwillingness to meet 50/50 imo.

I'm saying how I viewed it. I know almost everyone else viewed this as a non-competitive match up/ a tune up.

I don't remember any of us saying this. Mayweather was contemplating his retirement during the build up to Mayweather Vs. Oscar. I knew Mayweather was gonna be out for 2 years or retire officially after beating Hatton.
