Dwyer is da bomb...I pretty much believe in his analysis.... Ever since I've seen him and his predictions a year ago...he had only made two wrong predictions. That's the Calzaghe-RJJ and Pac-OScar......if he says he thinks Floyd will win...then so be it. I will still root for ma man. -
Am re-looking at the Cotto vs Pac fight over and over this past week, till today.
And even though am not a genius at analyzing I still believe Mayweather beats Pac and wont be surprised if he dominates him.
Cotto showed that by giving yourself some distance between you and pac then his speed aint so effective.
It's when he closes the gap and you don't clinch him or turn him to counter him that he punishes you because of his pop and fast hands. There's a big game plan to defeating him already set, it's just that his last 4 opponents have too much pride to think that a man coming from 112lbs aint big enough to hurt them that they decide to go for the KO and punish him. Instead getting punished themselves.
Of course I'll be shocked if not already, Pac blasts Money.Comment

i respect Dwyre's opinion alot...he's been pretty on point with his predictions...however, i do question some of the key points that he brought up;
1) in his PAC-Cotto analysis, didnt he say that one of PAC's advantages was his ability to fight going backwards while Miguel couldn't? Now, PAC can't fight going backwards?
2) although i fully agree that a dominant right hand is imperative in fighting/beating PAC, his examples of Morales and Marquez might be slightly off...those two examples indeed have solid right hands but those two also threw more than one punch after firing the jab and launching the right
Dwyre could very well be correct in his assesment, however, he pictures (IMO) a floyd that is letting his hands go for a majority of the rounds...i haven't seen Floyd consistently let his hands go since the Gatti fightComment

what about Mitchell & Judah? I thought he let his hands go alot in those fights. Remember thats its not going to be the same against a Southpaw. I think what he did to Zab & Mitchell who were going backwards all night was about the same as he did to Gatti in terms of letting his hands go. If Zab & Mitchell was standing there like Gatti and were righties then it wouldve been the same. I think the Pac fight will be in the middle of Gatti & Zab in terms of how Floyd lets his hands go. It wont be a ton because Pac is a Southpaw and Floyd will respect his power but he will let his hands go alot more than he has recently due to Pac being aggressive and suspect on Di respect Dwyre's opinion alot...he's been pretty on point with his predictions...however, i do question some of the key points that he brought up;

True, but his reflexes and ability to slip, bob & weave plus tie up his opponent after the st8 right or hook make up for it.i respect Dwyre's opinion alot...he's been pretty on point with his predictions...however, i do question some of the key points that he brought up;

regardless this fight is definitely going to be up there with Leonard-Benitez, Hagler-Hearns, Duran-Leonard...Comment

overall pretty good analysis..
I don't agree that a Pac fight would be easier for Mayweather than a Zab fight though.
Pac has the mental focus, stamina, and mountain of faith that Zab never had.
Pac very well could just blast mayweather out the water. But I agree that Pac's only chance will be KO within the first 6 or so rounds before Mayweather adjusts fully to him. Mayweather ain't gonna lose in the late rounds (thats when he knows his opponent best) and won't lose no decision.Comment
