I'm not comparing Yuri Foreman to PWill. I am saying Pac is the type of boxer who seems to want to challenge himself, "your boy" wants to fight Matthew Hatton...why not just fight Henry Brusles again?
If Pac wants such a big challenge each time out, why the catch weights? Why not the champion at at the regulation weight limit for a challenge? Why does Roach want Mayweather and Cotto at 145lbs?

The Pac camp is no worse or better than the Floyd camp. Both cherrypick their opponents. Don't tell me that David Diaz wasn't specifically chosen for 135. DLH could have been at any weight - it was all about cashing in on the Golden Boy. Hatton was pure hype and already exposed by FMJ and Lazcano. They asked Cotto to go down to what, 143? How's that make sense? Pac's willing to fight at 147 for DLH but with Cotto, they wanted him down to 143? And finally settled for 145? And made him put his 147 belt on the line? I don't call that 'wanting to challenge myself.' I call that cherrypicking, just like FMJ has done, just like ALL other boxers have done. If you're going to rattle on about boxing historians (and some unknown white boy rapper), then you realize boxing is big business first, sport second. If Pac is all about challenging himself, what's with Roach asking for Marquez at 145? FMJ at 145? Foreman at 148 for a 154 belt? If Pac is all about challenging himself, why wouldn't he just open his mouth and say, Yo, Freddie, I'm cool with the regular weight limits, I don't need these silly catchweights. But he doesn't. And Pac nuthuggers act like the guy is all zen and ****, because he doesn't say anything. I say the opposite - that the silence is deafening.

Very true!!! Pac should be fighting prime guys like Cotto/Floyd at 147
NOT 145 to show how really good he is. Not taking anything away from
Pac because I do like his style of fighting but some act like Pac is this
Phenom but homie just beat a prime 147 fighter at 145 for a 147 WW belt?

Pac has been trying to do this well before the fight with Floyd was even brought up.

He is not scared, or running. Please understand that (I know it's hard).

The one way thinking of NSB is starting to bother me alittle....

so do you believe with all your heart and mind that at 147lbs...Cotto would win against Pacquiao?

Well...... I think after what he did to Cotto that the fight at 147 may
have been a lil more competitive but I feel Manny would have still
beat Cotto but not as bad. Everyone knows how I feel about Cotto.
Just thought Manny was too small but he did his thing. All I'm saying
is if Manny wants to do it official with no questions asked, he should
be fighting guys like Cotto/Floyd and Mosley at 147 if he plans to
                    compete at 147, not 145.

Would he do any worse? Probably not.

But you can't have it both ways. You can't butter both sides of the toast. If you're saying Cotto wouldn't have won against Pac at 147....then why didn't he just fight him at 147? Why even ask for 143? Why settle at 145 AND make Migs put the 147 belt on the line?

I said it before, if Floyd had pulled something similar, if he'd fought someone like Foreman, Martinez, Spinks, whatever, and made them come down in weight AND put their 154 belts on the line, forget it, the Pac nuthuggers/Floyd haters would have been put on their big floppy shoes, wigs, and big red noses and straight up CLOWNED floyd. The hate on this board probably would have crashed NSB for days.

yet, Manny pulls this stunt, and he's 'challenging himself.'

Can I get a Double Standard, straight up, with a slice of WTF?
