Judges Alan Davis and Benoit Roussel confessed to smoking crack before the fight and also side-cash from Golden Promotions also helped sway them to make it a draw.

Judge Joseph Pasquale is the only judge who wasn't offered money by golden promotions to screw Funeka over, or unless Joseph refused to accept golden boys money to rob a fighter of his win.

This was the first time HBO ventured into Canada since 1977. For several of those years Lou DiBella headed HBO boxing, he's looking like a smart guy for never going that far north for fights and for good reason. Canada has several good fighters and some of the best fans of the sport, but they can't get competent officials for the life of them. Herman Ngoudjo got a hometown decision over Randall Bailey up there, the Bute-Andrade affair from last year, and this attrocious judging that could stall Funeka's career are the latest debacles compliments of this horrible commission. I don't want to see a re-match, just treat Ali Funeka like the winner he is. Move on and give him a title shot against Juan Manuel Marquez. And we can forget completely about Joan Guzman.

That was a CLOSE fight, not a robbery.

The scores were 114-114, 114-114 and 116-112 for Funeka. [details]

Whoa there. That fight was way closer than the fight between Guzman-Funeka. But Taylor-Hopkins 1 and 2 were bad decisions in a sneaky way because Taylor threw a bunch of ineffective punches. I see where you are getting at though.

No reason to buy three judges when two is all you need.

The 2 judges should go to prison for felony (Larceny).

I agree. That comparison is beyond ridiculous.
