I like the old manny pacquiao better

the one that beat lewdwaba and the pacquiao before morales 1, little dude didn't give a damn and literally keeps raping opponents throwing those left hand bombs the entire fight. If he isn't hitting you with that left, he's flurrying the **** out you till you open up so he can check jab + unload that left KO. Watching some of his older fights, he literally has **** for defense but i guess what makes him unhittable on most occasion is his overly aggressive style.. little man just overwhelms the hell of his opponents with flurries and straight lefts relentlessly. His old style was more exciting to watch IMO.

yea, exciting all right. but he is so much more effective, now that he's boxing more than brawling.

it wasnt that exciting to me because it was just one hand. No doubt he was crazy wit it but still. I use to get upset seeing him only fight with one hand and guys still would get hit with it all day

At the same time though, I always tell people that Lennox Lewis was my favorite fighter before Floyd but Im talking about the young Lennox. I liked that guy way more than the old cautious Lennox. The guy who fought Rudduck was one of my favorite guys ever to watch but he probably would win more fights as the older Lennox so I know what you mean

See, I wish Floyd Jr would do what PAC is doin' to these fools. Here's the big difference between Floyd and PAC when it comes to counter-punchin'

When PAC counters his opponent, he just doesn't stop, he continues punchin'. Whereas Floyd, once he lands 1 or 2 punch combo, he stops. After that, we won't see Floyd punch for another minute, seriously.

That's because you don't want to get countered after throwing your counter. You move your head. That's one of Pacquiao's bad habits.

before he got with roach , pac use to throw a ton of hooks and uppercuts and body shots.

he was wild and crazy though and would leave himself open.

roach made him that jab , left , jab , left guy.

it was easier for manny to defend himself and not be so wild when he was just doing the basic jab , straight combo.

then as his control and defense improved roach started adding it back to his arsenal.

If you like Boxing, the "Art" of Boxing, you would prefer the new version of Manny.

The Cotto fight showcased what the new version is about. He is still fast, powerful, agile, energetic, can take punishment, is willing to dish it out, follows orders but now, seems more like a General in the ring. That Ali **** he pulled during that fight was crazy.
