The best heavyweight of the 90's/2000's was without a doubt - LENNOX LEWIS.
Yeah, Holyfield was a great fighter, and so was Tyson... But neither of them dominated the division the way Lennox did and for that lengh of time either.
Lennox Lewis had an easy era?... What about Tyson?... LOL!...
Holyfield was great, and had a lot of heart but he got beat a load of times...
Maybe Lennox Lewis wasn't the most entertaining fighter of the three, (And I only think that is because he's not American... American's like to see Americans and that's it... Personally I think he was VERY entertaining to watch, he was a student of the sweet science), But I think that "skill wise" Lennox Lewis wins hands down over Holyfield/Tyson.
Hurlex - I'm not sure what Lewis/Tyson/Holyfield fights you've been watching to come up with that analysis?
and you are only sayin this cuz ur from england or whereever.
sry dude but not way sanders hit harder than tyson. just look at his body only fat. i thin vitali probably beat tyson but if he run into one of tyson´s best punch he will go down.
exactley and there is no way a trained Tyson wont land some shots. And Tyson would be a better opponent than Sanders, Tyson has the biggest punch in the division and has since George forman retired. only reason he couldnt get lennox cuz he didnt really land any effective shots. Lennox was so lucky to get the outta contrl Tyson who thinks he dont gotta train. I think Todays Tyson woulda been a better opponent than that Tyson.

I think you are having a problem differentiating between negative themes and smart fighting.
Vitali has a PhD. He is one smart guy. He knows what is necessary in defense and can cater his style to his opponent. In the sanders fight he took a couple of big shots, but at no time did it look like he was going down.
Tyson would have no chance against vitali. If you want to see what will happen watch Tyson Lewis. Tyson will be kept at range and dominated far away from his effective zone.
Just because he isnt a mentally imbalanced bralwer does not mean that vitali's style is not the most effective style out there in the heavyweight division today.
vitali has a ukraine phd equivalent to 2 years community college in the united states ,look it up...
I just watched Williams/Klitchko again today too (along with the other 3 fights that were on the card).
Williams was just outsmarted and outlanded from the first bell, and I honestly don't think anyone else in the division will fare any better against the big guy. If we had a Corrie Sanders that was 5 years younger, and actually in shape, I think he'd be heavyweight champ until he got bored with it, but I just don't see anyone else with the speed, sneaky manners, and power that he had. It's a ****ing shame, really. Sanders had everything he needed to be an unbeatable champ, except dedication and work ethic. And even at his age, if he'd been in any kind of condition at all when he fought Klitchko, I think he'd have had an excellant shot at winning.
