Klitchko's never been down, and has a recent history of fights against some huge punchers, and taking their shots well. And while Tyson doesn't exactly have a glass jaw, the term "Iron" doesn't describe it either. And aside from all that, Klitchko's just too big for him. Tyson has never done well against huge, smart fighters that don't trade inside with him, and I can't see a fight with Klitchko being any different. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if Klitchko stopped him within 3. Tyson would have to weather the storm of that left to get inside, and even if he did, the odds are that Vitali wouldn't be there once he got inside. And if Tyson tried jabbing his way in, he'd most likely end up catching overhand right counters from Klitchko.

No, I just don't think Tyson would stand a chance against Klitchko, even at his peak. Too big, too smart, and too fast. Clumsy as he looks, he's effective as hell in the ring.
Tyson may be finished now, but to say sanders and lewis are bigger punchers than tyson is asinine

Not at all. Tyson is a big puncher, but nothing extraordinary in the heavyweight division. His real key to success wasn't his power, but his accuracy, his ability to move inside lightning-quick, and then to unload the power that he does have dead on target and in combination form. Many, if not most, fighters can take a single big shot...but 3 or 4, or more, unloaded with frightening accuracy and speed? No. That's how Tyson built his career. Footwork and accuracy. He has more power than Klitchko, who uses punch volume to KO his opponents rather than 1 punch KO power, but definitely not Lewis or Sanders.

Vitali can't handle Tyson. Vitali's only chance at beating Tyson is staying outside, behind hard, straight punches, but even that isn't full proof, because of Tyson's head movement. Vitali is going to be knocked out by Tyson. Trust me.

if sanders could'nt put vitali down, i dont think tyson could. this is not the ruthless killer tyson that fought berbick and spinks. in his fight with williams he showed horrible defense cause his fighting mentality and awarness is basicly eroded, while he got hit with about 8 punches in a row, that was sad to watch. if he fought vitali he would get seriously hurt

I agree with Stickman... Tyson is a bit of a myth. He was exciting to watch but his most significant win to date is probably over Razzor Ruddock - And we all saw what happened when Lennox Lewis demolished him!

Tyson wasn't a HUGE concussive puncher. He just hit them with powerfull combinations.

Tyson will not be the Heavyweight champion again, because he's gotten old, and is now a 3 round fighter.

Everyone will be queing up to fight him now because he's a good name to have on your record - much the same way people all wanna fight Holyfield. With Tyson, all you gotta do is keep out of his way for 3 rounds and the fights yours!

tyson might have a chance aganist brewster or ruiz, but i just can't see how he would get anywhere near vitali, vitali at this point is better than the lennox lewis that beat tyson in 2002, or at least equal, vitali would close the show on mike's career if they fought

tyson hasn't beaten a quality opponent in years... he's getting much older... he's very inactive... he's never been right in the head... yet he's going to beat a bigger, younger, more active, world champion, who's been in with and beaten good opposition.... i dont think so...

people are hanging on to the old tyson, just like they did with holyfield... another loss or two and this will be a mute subject...

Tyson would get beat down by Vitali no doubt but none less the guarantee this fight will happen and I will order it. It will happen because Tyson will win like 3 or 4 fights in a row then fight Vitali and Vitali's dream has always been to beat Tyson. Tyson will regain his credibility through one means or another. The fight will be such a beatdown, but none the less entertaining, Mike always puts on a good show even when he's loosing. He will hang in for like 9 rounds. Laila Ali just better not be the undercard.

I am starting to think that it's these Tyson dreamer's (That Tyson is gonna become the heavyweight champion again) that are a lot to blame for his exploitaion.

Tyson is gone!... He's been gone for a long time. He does still generate a lot of money, and in come the promoters/managers that will look for excuses as to why he lost just to sell another show.

I feel sorry for Mike because he's now getting completely exploited and it's this dangerous stage of his career where he can't fight back the way he used to. Poor Mike is gonna take some bad beatings before they've ****** as much money out of him as they can... And like Ali, it'll be from fighters not fit to lace gloves!
