You can tell you've got no gas left when a Junior Welterweight Tourney comes around & the likes of Ricky Hatton hasn't been put up for consideration.

But he will prob make more money and won't tarnish his record if he stayed away.

ortiz vs khan will be too rich of a fight in a few more fights and promoters know this.

In an ideal world this would consist of:

          Hatton/Khan/Bradley/Peterson/Ortiz/Alexander

Realistically though it'll be full of conteders, rather than champions, still with the proposed line up it would be pretty exciting. Especially if they add two more fighters like Paulie and Kendal.

Ricky's still only 31, it's a shame because there's no way he'd compete in this, he thinks it beneath him. He'd rather have a mickey mouse fight with JMM.

C'mon Ricky get back into action, get in this tournament. I'd have you as favourite.

What's funny is though, the winner isn't the real king of the division, they're more like a stand in. Because everyone pretty much accepts that Pacman could step back down and beat whoever is considered the best in this division.

He will go for more money fights while trying to maintain only 2 loses, because getting less potential money and getting more loses he won't be able to use the excuse of only getting beat by the P4P#1.

It could be good in a round robin formula. I'm not too bothered about adding in Holt, Urango and Paulie really i like how it looks now with just the 4 fighters. Winner should face Bradley.

Ricky cant win a fight in that tournament anywhere so that wont help

Without Hatton, Bradley, Holt and winner of Malinaggi/Diaz II this would be meaningless, it's like a tier 2 tourney and everyone knows it.
