Ya know in every post you make you dissrespect not only Cotto, but us fans. By your standards, are we not allowed to hype our fav boxer before a fight? And you obviously didn't read any of my posts where i have always accepted Cotto's defeat to Manny graciously. I think you just an ******* trolling the forum.

Of course you're allowed to hype your fighter's up. I don't blame you for that but at least don't get mad and give us shyt for categorizing your fighters as "hype-jobs. As I said Earlier, Cotto was not a great fighter and he was not garbage. He was Good.

You don't like Cotto, and i have seen too many Cotto haters trying not to be obvious about it. I call them closet haters. I had to talk one guy here into admitting he hates Cotto. He finally did after a few posts. You are a closet hater. You are trying to make Cotto fans look like we are all sore losers. If you don't like what you read here then don't read it.

You've figured me out all wrong. I'ts not Cotto that I don't like. It's his ***** type fans who I can't stand(not all of them ofcourse. just the ones who exaggerate his abilities and wont accept any remarks against Cotto.
I hate ***** fans(Horus and others) and extreme Pac fans for the same reason.

I like Cotto for being a dedicated fighter and having a nice personality. I gave the guy his credit after the Pac fight just like every other pac fan. It's you clomos who made me start making fun of him by exaggerating his abilities and even stating that he'll crush mayweather easily with his jab...lol (shyt like that basically)

If it bothers you that much, maybe you shouldn't be joining a boxing forum. You are probably a kid that has been watching boxing for about as long as Cotto has been a pro fighter, if that long. The fact that you are focusing your attitude at us fans and trying to make us look foolish says volumes about your motive, which is to disscredit Cotto by calling him Quitto, and saying us fans can't accept the win like we are all one person.

My man I'm not a kid first of all and i've been watching boxing since 13. I'm even a boxer myself(amature atm) and that's why it kills me to criticize Cotto so harshly. I love the guy for pushing his limits even though he lacks a lot of skills and I've even looked up to him as a role model in the past.
Half the things I say here I don't mean, and it's just to **** with a few of his delusional extrteme fanboys. At first I thought you were one of those guys, but you've proved me wrong by taking this convo this far and trying to be reasonable. I give you props and respect for that.


As I've said before...I like Cotto but I am not a fan of situations when being a fanboy affects reasoning. Good luck to Cotto in the future and I really hope he bounces back.

Edit; well said Pinkivory. Cotto was not that much bigger...like a 1/2" taller, a bit bigger boned, but Manny grew into he new weight very well, and handled himself incredibly well.

Like i said, no fighter should feel any shame in losing to a fighter who has intense love of action with such a killer instinct. Fact is, most Cotto fans like Manny too. fact is, most Cotto fans were ok with the loss. Dissapointed? very. Crying about unfairness? NO. The better man won, and most Cotto fans accept it, as hard as it is for us.

Us die hard Cotto fans feel like a part of us died in the ring that night, we were so suprised at the outcome of that fight. It was a perfect role reversal of what we were expecting. And here comes this dissrespectful kid to pour salt in our wounds. Real sportsmanship kid! At least you named yourself right.

Exactly it's like a part of you lost in the ring. Cotto is the reason I got into boxing and found out why this sport is so great. To see him totally beaten and outshined by a better fighter and know Cotto just would never beat Manny is hard to accept. I'm still a Cotto fan through and through and I'll never stop supporting. But I gotta admit, this loss definitely stung. I had no doubt about Cotto winning. Seeing him being dismantled was hard to watch. With Margo, I though Cotto fought the wrong gameplan and would win a rematch. Manny is just an ATG. No shame in losing to him, but it's hard to accept for his diehard fans.

I feel you though bro. These guys don't know what they're talking about. If somebody has never boxed or spent hours studying boxers in close range, theywill never know how to judge fights and evaluate fighters the proper way.

They think/thought Cotto is superman just because he's stiff, hits a little hard, beat a few bums with he exception of Mosley and Clottey, and had no losses.

FFS, they think he can beat Mayweather by using his jab.. that tells you right there how much these guys know about boxing.

I remember in a thread recently where some fanboy told me "If Cotto runs like he ran with Pac, Floyd is going to lose because it's not his style to chase Cotto around like Manny did"...and if he does, Cotto is going to keep him away with his jab

Lost fair and square against margarito, and got decimated against pacquiao which is no shame, but he didn't even try to win. I thought you guys were saying he was more skilled than marquez? A guy who didn't have twenty pounds on pacquiao or the size to keep him off. That is a shame. Also the Cotto vs Clottey fight resembled Quartey vs Forrest. If you see that as a resounding win then go for it.
