I know what I would say but I think what others and writers say may be different. Im trying to hear how they would put it. It doesnt mean Im right or they are wrong if there opinion is different than mine. Thats the point of the thread. After you hear some of the answers then you might know better how people will view it if this event occured but some are answering just like you which makes no sense

there you go. serious thread? you make a semi serious thread semi praising manny in order to cover your ass as being labeled a hater or nuthugger when in reality you are a manny hater & a floyd biased ass nuthugger. I mean you just admitted it right now.

I still cant figure out a great fighter that floyd beat. can you name a great fighter that floyd beat?

My point is that I think pretty much all of these guys could have over a hundred fights at the same point they now have 40 and physicaly could be on the same level. It was just what the job was called for. I mean they are talking about taking baseball down to 120 games instead of 162. If that happeneds does it automaticaly mean that the new guys are softer or couldnt go 162 for 10 years without there bodies breaking down?

Case & point, if Archie Moore or SRR fought today, they wouldnt be fighting 200 fights. They would be fighting 30-50 like everyone else, even if they had the same exact body & conditioning. Its just what the game is called for now. It doesnt mean that these guys couldnt do it. Think about this also. If everyone was fighting 100-200 fights now, who would they be fighting? They would still be fighting eachother so its not like 1 guy is doing it and another isnt. No one will have an advantage so it could easily be done. Floyd needed a break but Floyd lives boxing 24/7. He stays in the gym even when he's not fighting. Dont tell me he couldnt have 100 fights if he wanted to. Its just now how it works nowdays
If Archie was fighting now he probably could of still be going strong by the age of 50 and still be top level and would of have had won way more titles in more weight divisions too. Floyd had to take a break at age 30 with only 30 fights. Do you Armstrong at age 30 which just 30 fights would had to take a break. Barrera and Morales both started going down hill at age 30 with over 50 fights. Do you think Ray Robinson would of gone down hill at age 30 with over 50 fights?

If Floyd had over a 100-200 fights don't you think he would of fought Casamayor, Freitas, Spadafora, Lazcano, Johnston, Dorin, Harris, Tszyu, Witter, Cotto, Mosley, Margarito, Clottey, Cintron, Williams, Quintana, Collazo, Berto, Spinks, Forrest, Winky all of them by now. And, be considered even greater. That is whole point of the old school they fought often and fought everybody... So when you look at a guy who fought over a 100-200 fights you know they fought everybody... Like you can't compare these fighters to back then. Floyd has 40 fights in 12yrs what makes you think he could of fought 100x if he really wanted too? He averages a lil bit over 3 fights a year. And, you if he really wanted too he could of done a 100? No...

pacs resume is seriously overrated, its not even better than mayweathers. he really got his shine when mayweather retired and beat the same punching bags mayweather beat before him. when they meet in the ring,it will all be settled.

They did not. Most of those 200 fights were against bums. Everyone knows that stuff. You said that they wouldve fought this and that guy but they wouldve also had a ton of fights against the Pacquaio & Hatton's of the world except only it wouldve been Bobby Pacquiao and Matthew Hatton. My point is that its all realitive. If you dont think it is then its fine but I think it is. I mean James Toney has had 83 fights himself. Its not like guys just toally cant do it. Its not called for now Go look at who Moore was fighting and most of them are bums. He had like 70 fights in his first 8 years and probably only 2 of them are against good guys and only 2 of them went 15 rounds. Stop acting like what they did was so much harder. These guys nowdays could do that. Its all relative. It just doesnt work that way anymore. Guys had to do that back then to make more money

If Pac gets dominated...his "exaggerated" legacy will be questioned and looked down upon. What I meant is his comparison towards the greats of greats like Ali and Robinson. He will still be within top 25 ATG but will not move from there.
If Pac wins, then the exaggerated legacy is just about how it should be.
