Prior to Clottey - Cotto, I thought Clottey would be the tougher matchup for PAC.

After the Cotto - Clottey, I think PAC's movement alone would trouble Clottey big-time. But, I think PAC will have to work harder to really get to Clottey 'cause Clottey's chin is made of granite and he defends well.

Clottey is one tough dude and unlike Cotto he will be there for all 12 rounds, but unlike Cotto thats all he really has. He even slower he has less workrate and he has less speed. Manny will escape much easier from him than Cotto, but he would have to be carefull not to get careless in the later rounds.

He is way too inactive/lazy to even win a round against Pac.

This is a horrible conclusion even though everybody is entitled to their opinion. Clottey does not punch hard and he takes breaks like crazy. Pacquiao would outwork him big time. Clottey is the easiest fight for Pacquiao out of all the top Welters.

No, someone easy to hit is the easiest fight......he would have a harder time with better defense not better offense.

What the hell does Clottey bring to the table besides being hard to land a clean punch on? He's one of the most overrated fighters on this forum, I swear.

If he just threw more punches......I don't see him being decisively beaten by anyone. Even without throwing many punches he hasn't been decisively beaten by anyone, the Cotto fight was his for the taking any he blew it.

Clottey's a gatekeeper to the fullest. He nearly quit against Margarito and he talked **** about Paul Williams and ran the other way because he was afraid to lose to him. He also blows up to a higher weight than Margarito and Williams do on fight night. He's a mentally weak fighter, and his style sucks.

There is no such thing as nearly quit in boxing...you either quit or toughed it out......and idk what happened with the PWill fight, if you don't like him fine but he is a good fighter whether you like his style or not.
