If anything, Cotto has the slight advantage on his feet, and their handspeed is closer.
Man..Cotto's handspeed is ridicously low.. You can even see the difference when he does pads.

I've seen clottey train in real life and that mo***a is quick even with 16 oz gloves

What are you going to tell use there is a considerable advantage either way? because there isn't.

Cotto showed his speed against Mosley, do you consider Mosley to be slower than Clottey to?

Ive seen Clottey against Baldy, Margarito, Guttierez, Judah, Corrales and nothing as shown me he has quicker hands than Cotto. I did not see that in his fight with Cotto either.

Clottey who is criticized for not having an offensive willingness to go after opponents, may find this attribute to be an asset against Pac. Clottey's defensive shell would really help in the area of damage control against Pac and JMM showed that Pac is not hard to find and is open to counters. If we go back to Clottey's non offensive tendencies, I notice when Pac explodes with a flurry most fighters tend to trade with him getting smacked with faster hard shots like Cotto did. Clottey would most like cover up maybe not having a clean punch landed on him and then counter Pac of he is quick enough.....also having an outstanding chin aids Clottey against Pac too. All fighters can be beaten no matter how good they are and its a styles thing, I think Clottey has the style to beat him.......thoughts opinions
I like Clottey, but he's just not active enough.

I think he was capable of it, but as the fight progressed he got overconfident. He landed some great combinations in the early rounds, and most of the meaningful punches, but from round 9 on he thought he was just coasting to victory. Wrong.

If you didn't see the difference when they fought, than I suggest you get some glasses man

            Clottey clearly had faster hands

The way he was so inactive in the 12th was terrible, he would walk Cotto to the ropes, get in front of him, and cover up waiting for Cotto to throw 1st......thats not the way to show the judges you want to win a close fight. Still he is the superior boxer to Cotto in my view and even if he would lose to Pac because of inactivity, he would do better than Cotto and certainly not get stopped.

i don't think Clottey would last 12 rounds in Pac's world. He has that head up when he throws punches and he kind of loses it in the championship rounds. That clam shell defense can't cover everything and Pac would rain in punches zeroing on varied targets coming from different angles from different spots while moving around him. I honestly think Clottey would be a sitting duck for Pac with that style of his.
