Let me ask you a question,

Is being the 1# p4p best fighter in the sport, 1# p4p most exciting fighter in the sport, being a first ballot hall of famer, certified living legend, having the better resume, having a official welterweight belt & junior welterweight belt, along with having a great fan base & a legitimate ticket seller compared to AFraid Mayweather jr. worth at least 50%?

Afraid Jr. fought oscar may 2007. Its gonna be 2010.

Afraid Jr. was the biggest star in boxing, WAS.

NOW is Pacquiao. Evidence: Pac vs Cotto 1.25 mill, Afraid Jr. vs Marquez 1mil.

Stop using the marquez & hatton numbers as a gauge. That was before Pac became a mainstream star. Hell that even helps Pac's cause.

before Pac became a cross over mainstream american star he was averaging 350k w/ morales & he & marqeuz set the record for the lower weights with 400k plus. That is between 2 non english speaking non american fighters who dont live in america fighting in america.

    Pretty impressive.

How much did Afraid Mayweather Jr. pull before oscar? vs Gatti a american boxing action fighter? vs Judah another american?

The fact that Pac vs Hatton was only 100k give or take behind Floyd v hatton during a much worser economic time is a testament to the drawing power of the pacquiao. Afraid mayweather jr. already beat hatton, & hatton almost got KO'D by lazcano then had a boring uneventful win vs paulie yet they 2 NON AMERICANS pull 800k plus?

Afraid mayweather jr. was the biggest star & draw of the sport. Pacquiao is NOW the biggest star & draw of the sport. Stop living in the past & live in the present.
Nice post. But you seem to be doomed by the same logic so many others seem to bestow.

you cant compare 4 independent variable, one has to be constant and the others have to manipulative. What Pac and Cotto did dosent say **** about Pacs draw power over Floyds and vice versa.

I could make the argument that if Pac in a fight that was deemed to be the biggest of his life, the biggest fight of the year, and the biggest fight in the last 3 years along side Cotto one of the biggest stars in the sport, only sell 200k more and Floyd with a 36 yr old JMM who had only been on 2 PPVs previously in which they together = less than 700k?

Or you could claim that Floyd would do more with Cotto than Pac did.

Thats why you dont compare the 2 very different situations.

Did you take algebra? If so tell me this, which equation is valid.

    (A+B)>(C+D) So A>C

    (A+B)>(A+C) So B>C

See if you cant understand then expalins whats wrong with your logic.

Oh if you say ooooooooone more thing about the Texans IMA HAVE TO CUT YA ASS!!!

It's immaterial to you because it doesn't fit your agenda.
      You are a fool.
Pac deserves more, because he has done more to earn more.
      Both are draws.
But in negotiations, Pac's team will laugh at PBF demanding more for these reasons.
You cannot read, or simply choose not to.
Either way, you are a dumbass.
I asked for you to explain why you felt either fighter deserves the larger split. I was hoping idiots like you wouldn't come in and start spewing a bunch of biased opinionated bull****. Everyone else here was following protocol until your ass came in here ready to talk ****.You are still on that "PBF has no fans" bull**** so that alone speaks volumes about just how you much know. When the fight is made, and Floyd gets the larger share what will be your excuse? You think Bob Arum is bringing up the **** your talking about in negotiations? Now run along now and leave this thread to people who like to debate with facts, not opinions and **** talking. Come back with numbers or **** you.Have a nice life!

The Texans are a head case. They love to do **** to break thier fans hearts and they never seem to run out of new ways to accomplish this.

Games that end with them with 4 tries from the 1 yard lines.
Games that end with fumbles on the 1 yard line.
Games that end with FG missed from reasonable range by unreasonable amounts.
Games that end with Interceptions deep in thier opponenents territory
Games that end with Multiple score comeback from the opposing teams.

          The list goes on.

But uh, **** you for talking about my Texans. Whos your team?

I dnt believe the last part is true and Floyd in his worse selling fight to date sold more in that fight than nearly half of Pacs fights. Some of those fights include the record breakers you speak of.

None of these reasons to me are significant enough to warrant Pac any shot calling privileges.
That in the bold is not true. The US cared about Leonard, Duran, Hagler, Hearns and that was before the Tyson era. They cared about Oscar fights which Oscar was the first to do a mili at WW. During the Lewis era. The WW division has cache. Anything under the WW is just not the same for the U.S

Im changing my tune reading all the exchanges here.

IT SHOULD BE 65-35 FOR PAC!

FLOYD DOESN'T EVEN DESERVE 20% BUT I'M BEING GENEROUS NOW.

Floyd is a FRAUD, that's a FACT not an opinion.
