As a fan I would love to see the fight in Dallas.
Reason being as posted above Dallas has the BIGGEST BIG SCREEN TV in the WORLD. Not only that it can seat 100,000 and also has areas at both ends where fans can stand and view the screen.
Which means if we don't get the luxury to have a ring side seat, even a middle upper level seat will do thanks to that giant screen. I imagine any decent tickets to run $2000++ on Vegas. In Dallas I would imagine them to be much less.
The question is can they fill 100,000. I think they can as long as the tickets are kept affordable. I think this fight will attract the curiosity of any sport fan. Obviously selling 100,000 tickets will net more money than 30,000 at Vegas even with tickets being sky high in Vegas.
My personal feeling however is if the fight is made then it will be in Vegas. They have to much leverage to not get the fight.
If it's in Dallas you can bet your asses I am going!

why not
[QUOTE=2501;6771547]you would have no problem with that at Cowboy's stadium
why not have it here in Dallas. This is a new venue can hold 100,000 plus fans, has the largest lcd in the world, also Dallas is centrally located in the U.S as fans from all states would come.....this event would sellout in a hurry..guaranteed>>>

The number of seats don't matter, really. They can set up closed circuit which is a better "seat" than being in the arena.
The best deal is to do the way that the classic fights did: set up a temp arena in the parking lot of Caesar's , and you get the best of both worlds. LOL
Seriously, you need that check from the casinos. Besides, have you ever sat in cheap seats to watch boxing? Horrid.

You need a car to get around. The hotels are not close to each other. Everynody else is working - it's not a resort town. The clubs all shut down at 1:30.
Vegas is so, SO, SOOOOOOOO much better than Dallas.
