We have to remember that Morales-Pac I is probably the hardest fight of Pac.

It is well-documented that Pac urinated blood after the fight.

Credit should be given to Morales for testing Pac's mettle.

it was a good, morales's best win......he's resume is not as good as pac's but it's still great......he would've been the first mexican(not mexican american)to win titles in 4 div if he won vs diaz......

        He should've won that fight.

Anyway, Morales is the only one to ever beat a prime Manny Pacquiao. The 115-113 scores were too close IMO. I thought Erik won more rounds than that.

Pacquiao should be thankful for the Morales fight though, it gave him a valuable lesson.

On a side note, Morales turning southpaw on Pacquiao in that fight was one of my favorite boxing moments of all time. When he switched to SP, it was like Morales saying to Pac "Come on *****, TRY and knock me out"

I respectfully disagree. MAB x1, PAC x1 and a good showing in the 2nd, Junior Jones KO, Inchin Chi x 1 ( A very under rated win, Chi was a beast ) Chavez, Kelly, McCullogh, Chacon, Zaragoza, Juarez etc etc

In 2nd thoughts maybe Pac resume is better, SLIGHTLY, but prime for prime Morales decisions Pac, i have no doubt, 2 handed PAc or not

Morales was winning the 2nd fight until the 9th round

im not really into ranking fighters specially in an all-time level...

but of all the fighters MP has faced & beaten, erik morales stands above 'em all in terms of legacy... with perhaps the possible exception of barrera...

                & soon PBF...

it's a great win no doubt but you have to understand that pac was still green at that time, it's like saying how rjj's win over a green bhop got better as prime bhop kept beating great oppositions. if anything, morales gets credit for teaching pac the importance of developing your technique rather than just relying on physical gifts... morales gave pac his much needed wake up call.
