If you notice, Arum has stopped speaking about it also.

Both sides have agreed not to drag negotiations out in the media. That's all that Floyd had to tell Lopez. It's kind of how your attorney tells you not to discuss a case.

The deal will get done. But it needs to get done quietly and professionally. Not like the Oscar/Pac or Pac/Hatton deals. Lessons learned.

Just PR to raise hype. I'd bet Oscar was always the planned guest on that show, they just pulled an imaginary bait and switch on y'all. Nice to see that it worked...

Oscar is pushing this fight hard
I like how y'all always assume you know what's going on as if there is another angle.. you don't know that for a fact so it isn't worth a mention. Lopez has no reason to lie about it either.. everything isn't a PR stunt. get that through your heads.

If BOTH sides have agreed not to talk about it in the media then De La Hoya. who promotes Mayweather, wouldn't be talking about it as well..

and Bob Arum never really talked about this fight to begin with because he didn't want it to happen.

            you FAIL.

Nor should you believe that because it's not the case. Nor is Pacquiao scared of Mayweather for not calling Floyd out, or saying "i have to talk to my promoters".

When you get people in a room who will negotiate in good faith, things work out well. When you get the media, internet hotheads, "haters" on both sides, and bloggers involved, things go downhill.

So Schaefer will go behind closed doors with Arum and DuBoeuf and work out a deal. Haymon will be involved. Floyd and Pac will be quiet in the media.

...and the deal will get done as it should . Professionally.

Floyd either should not have booked onto the show at all, or have a spokesperson set groundrules. One of the groundrules for a Shane interview is "no steroid questions".

It is childish and effeminate for internet posters to overreact to every blurb they hear.

Did Delahoya talk about it? Go watch the interview? What did Oscar say? Did oscar say even one thing of consequence? Even one? All Oscar said is that it could be a really huge fight. Duh.

Oscar is a seasoned promoter and businessman. More so than Floyd. DLH can talk around things better than Floyd does.

Everybody take a deep breath. Let's be reasonable and mature.

                      OK? Please.
