Floyd first beat Hatton and DLH. Then Pac beat them.. Those were Pacs best wins IMO. Cotto also.

Floyd shut out Marquez.. Pac arguably lost twice..

This fight tells who the better fighter is IMO...
You not responding to my post. Leonard beat Hagler and Hearns. Both Hagler and Hearns beat Duran. Leonard won 2 fights against Duran. Yet some historians rank Duran higher than Leonard all time.

Argument for best of the era, however you choose to define that, is overall body of work. PBF cannot surpass Pac simply by beating him. That makes him better head to head, not in terms of overall career. I like PBF myself, but can accept that Pac's career>PBF's career.

Did leonard arguably lose twice to someone that Duran shut out? AkA marquez? if so that makes sense. Did Duran beat those guys first, aka hatton and DLH, is so I understand it.

This is a different situations.. Now please quit trying to sound smart.

yes... and floyd beating pacquiao doesn't automatically make his career better.

Agreed. I have Pacquiao about one step ahead with the Cotto win, but losing a head-to-head puts Mayweather in front

A Pacquiao win is a huge boost to a resume; especially consdering Pacman's current form and the fact that he started out as the betting favourite

It would not be remotely comaparable to a Harada v Jofre or Saddler v Pep because those are underdogs triumphing against the odds because they simply have the other guy's number. Mayweather v Pacquiao on the other hand is a pick 'em with two guys of almost equal stature colliding in an era defining fight. Both guys are at the heights of their respective careers.

Thank you.. This is not a saddler vs pep type of fight..

This is a Frazier vs Ali type of fight.... I cant stand people who compare **** like that.

Leonard did better than that he beat a guy who beat Duran in Hagler. And, Leonard KO'd a guy who destroyed Duran in 2rds in Hearns. And, then Leonard beat Duran twice. How is what Leonard did not better? And, yet Duran is ranked higher. Is not me trying to sound smart is that you too much of an idiot to understand.

The guys that beat SRR were not considered "1a."

                      Very bad comparison.
