Ill give people barrera, but not morales or marquez, sorry.
back to your post.. marquez fights were close. he had a win and a draw. he shouldn't get any credit cause they were close fights?
morales was still close to prime in their 2nd fight. and you won't give him credit for it? even a shot morales is a still pretty good win.

Floyd and Pac have 3 common opponents-JMM, Hatton, and Oscar
Wilfredo Benitez and Duran have 3 common opponents-Leonard, Palomino, and Hearns. Both beat Palomino by decision, Duran lossed twiced to Leonard and in one of them he quit. Benitez got KO'd in the last round by Leonard. Benitez losses a majority decision to Hearns, while Duran gets destroyed by Hearns in 2rds. Benitez beats Duran in a head-to-head match-up. Yet Duran is the greater fighter.
Leonard and Duran have 3 common opponents just like Pac-Floyd. Both Leonard and Duran are easily top 15 greatest fighters of all time arguably in the top 10. There common opponents are Hagler, Hearns, and Benitez. Leonard beat all 3 and KO'd 2 of them. Duran lossed all 3 and got KO'd. Leonard beats Duran twice in a head-to-head match-up in a pick'em fight going into it just like Pac-Floyd. Yet some historians rank Duran higher than Leonard.
I don't understand why the TS can see that this is not unprecedented it has happen. Head-to-head match-ups does not decide who is better.

Boxing writers, reporters, and announcers, who are the caretakers and turn moments into monuments, are already calling Pacquiao one of the top 20 fighters. Why? Because his story is a compelling one. A small kid from a third-world country taking on the best competition in each weight division and defeating the best fighters of his era regardless of weight. That's a story that will resonate 50 years from now. What are people going to say about Mayweather 50 years from now? What's Mayweather's story that makes him the best of his era? No one's going to care whether or not he was the cash cow or that he had 10 Maybachs or had silk walls in his big boy mansion.
Fairly or unfairly, part of Floyd's legacy is that he ducked the best fighters in his weight class. Whether or not he whups Pacquiao won't change that line of thinking. The story is already being written about Floyd Mayweather's career.
Now, he can change that story by continuing to chase the best competition after beating Pacquiao. Not just beating Pacquiao, but going after Paul Williams, Shane Mosley, even Andre Berto or moving up and taking over 154 or even 160.
If he beats Pacquiao and does all, or even half, of those things, he'll be remembered as the best of his era and one of the best ever.

Pac's best wins are against guy's Floyd beat... Except cotto....
Floyd demolished Marquez. A complete shut out. Pacman arguably lost twice.
WTF do you mean this wouldnt show who the best is?
Anyone who uses other greats with a loss are idiots.. This is not the same situation. Its agaisnt another great fighter, who has beat similair oppents. Completely different.
JUST CAUSE FLOYD BEATS PAC DOESN'T MEAN THAT ALL OF PAC'S ACCOMPLISHMENTS TRANSFER TO FLOYD. FLOYD HAS TO ACTUALLY FIGHT THE FIGHTS TO GET CREDIT!!!

Both claim to be P4P kings, both at/near their prime, PAC WW champion, no catchweight BS and no excuses on PBF...
