Not surprising to see an article like this. Khan's huge for a Lightweight. Going to Welter might not be a bad idea at all. The two fighters who I think look the best right now -- Mayweather and Pacquiao -- both fight close to their natural weight and look spectacular doing it. Manny was definitely not as hard hitting when draining down, he weakened himself, and Floyd looked razor sharp last time out. Yeah, it was against a bloated JMM, but so what, you don't even have to be a ***** to admit he looked good. Why people say Floyd's lost a step I have no idea.

Anyway. I say go for it, Khan.

I would like him to beat someone like Maidana, Holt, Urango, OR Torres at 140 to see where he is chin-wise...I like the kid, he has star power but this is a lot of hype by roach.

              Yes!!!

Khan is the biggest hype job in boxing today. Even though nobody seems to hype him

Genuine, reasonable posters like me, gauge that he has huge potential, but also admit to his frailties. I have never once made an outlandish claim like "Khan will be p4p no1" or "Khan will destroy Pacquaio" like some fools have.

I admit Khan may get knocked the hell out if he steps up to the plate against a top puncher. But that's fine by me. I like watching the guy box, and will continue to tune into his fights regardless. That way, if Khan does become a huge, successful, boxing star, I have one over on all the people who hated on him. And trust me, he is hated on a level which is far beyond that of which he is hyped. It's such a shame too. Khan is a young, talented, olympic silver medalist, who has nothing to prove to anybody except himself.

Yes. It is amazing how much stronger Pac has become in a very short period of time.

Khan is young. And he is tall. He will grow into a WW.

I love the way Maidana worked Gonzalez' body.

I would like to see MM go against another gatekeeper at 140. Somebody with good speed. And then I'd put him in with top guys.

will probably wait for the smoke to clear first though with all these big names colliding

At this point in Roach's career he is a world class trainer. Let him work with Khan for a few years and I bet he can make something special out of him.

Just sparring with Manny Pacquaio by itself is enough to improve him.
