I don't include Heavies P4P. They're heavies. P4P is a way to describe non-heavies IMO. If I did, none of the dudes fighting right now would be there anyways. None would be top 20.

Paul Williams isn't holding his spot hostage like Floyd, Shane, and Hopkins are. He's making fights happen or at least fighting twice a year. He fought four time last year. Dawson needs to be ranked a little lower. I would still have JMM over him. Maybe even Bradley too. And no offense, but even you have to admit that Cotto belongs nowhere near the top ten just like all the other posters are saying.

the p4p list has gone to hell, its become the U.S popularity p4p list, you get points to be in this p4p list just by being american, im tired of seeing overated ****faces like floyd ahead of proven fighters that dont cherry pick and dodge opponents, p will and dawson, what the ****, andre berto will soon join the list, even if he loses to mosley, p will position in this list is bull****, arthur abraham deserves that position more, the fa.gs klits do to, calderon deserves a higher just due, id rather see linares in their than p will, mosley and hops are cool but floyd deserves like a #5 or 6, maybe 7

Id put David Haye, and all of the early leaders of the Super Six before Cotto.
I agree maybe he shouldn't be on there but how should David Haye be ahead of him?

How can you put Linares in there when he just got KOd and hardly fought before that? I know you may not be the biggest P Will fan. But Abraham has just beaten a mediocre fighter in Taylor that had been KOd and already beaten three times. And I don't think that Martinez is as good as Dzinziruk. But if Williams wins that fight it's going to be a better win in my opinion than Mosley's soon to be victory over Berto. Williams deserves his spot. Abraham probably belongs in the top 15 though.

Did you miss Linares's last fight?

No its not, it was created to give smaller guys some credit but does not exclude HWs.....when you ask who is the p4p #1 you are asking; if all of the best fighters in every weight class could be scaled down to the same size while retaining the attributes which made them successful who would be the best in this imaginary tourney...that is all, its not exclusive or about wins in any way.
