I Thought I would LOVE all the attention toward BOXING... but its pissing me off

Having all these nobodies talk about Pacquiao-Mayweather like they know what they are talking about, trying to analyze it and stuff. Its reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally annoying you know?

I kinda like the fact that boxing is a niche sport. I liked it better when i was the only one who knew who Manny Pacquiao was. Now every ****in kid is wearing a Pacquiao T-shirt like they were fans the whole time or something. I want boxing to succeed, and i want 100,000's of fans to pack a football stadium for a fight, but then i want all those casual fans to just **** off.

Im just saying, when someone comes up to me and calls me delusional for thinking Mayweather beats Pacquiao, it definitely makes me appreciate the fact that boxing is a NICHE sport, and that i only run into a real fan every once in a blue moon. I actually like that.

    Am i alone here?

I feel even better though. I basically became a fan of Pacquiao after the first Barrera fight. I knew he was going to do big things. Nobody walks over a prime Barrera like that. People to this day continue to write him off because he has a very awkward style.

I know exactly what you mean..

especially when I'd argue with them that Cotto is very much a LIVE DOG in this fight..and now that Pacquiao WRECKED him..they feel superior in knowledge because of it..and feel that he'd steam roll Mayweather in a similar fashion..

I like the fact that it's getting attention tho..but I hate when guys who don't even know who Pacquiao was before DLH try and hold an intellectual boxing convo with me..and act like they know more..

Yeah lol, it's good boxing is getting more attention, attention I credit to

.Manny's win over Oscar, highlight reel KO of Hatton and beating of Cotto
.The return of Floyd, and the subsequent hype and speculation surrounding a potential Floyd-Manny fight.

i take the bart to work everyday and saw a couple of kids with pacman shirts on. i overheard them talking about how pacquiao would kill mayweather inside 6 because mayweather doesnt throw enough punches to back pacquiaos assault off. its bittersweet though. the sport gets more recognition to the mainstream but at the same time you hear new people try to talk about boxing like they know what theyre talking about.
