The headbutt affected him, maybe if he'd had a loud mouth trainer he would've ended up with a no contest or a longer rest period. As it is I think the TKO should stand.
Hopefully they have an immediate rematch to settle who the better fighter is.Comment

Did you say Sosa was in control? Look at round 1, Mayol gut the better of the exchanges. Why should Mayol intentionally headbutt Sosa when he is in control of the fight. Honestly, it was clearly not intentional. It was clear that Mayol was throwing a body shot when their heads collided. I dont agree that the WBC will entertain this protest to make it a no contest but I agree that an immediate rematch should take place but in a neutral country like the US. I believe, the rematch will have same result coz Mayol is more faster , more stronger and has more skills than Sosa. Sosa should accept his defeat and prepare for the immediate rematch. Dont be a cry baby like JMM. We wont respect such kind of fighter.Comment
